Experience game drives at the world-famous Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, and witness the lakes of the Great Rift Valley. Immerse yourself in Tanzania's stunning landscapes and warm culture and enjoy the authentic African feel of this less-crowded safari experience. Explore Lake Manyara National Park, with its soda ash lake that attracts thousands of pink flamingos and famous tree climbing lions. Go on safari in the Ngorongoro Crater, the worlds largest caldera and home to an extraordinary concentration of animals and explore the iconic Serengeti National Park, known for the incredible wildebeest migration that happens here throughout the year.

You'll be met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to Arusha Serena Hotel, Resort & Spa. The hotel is close to central Arusha, right on the banks of Lake Duluti. You can spend the rest of today at your leisure, relaxing at the hotel or exploring the surrounding landscape.

Enjoy a restful morning at the hotel before heading off in your safari vehicle for Tarangire National Park. Passing the town of Makuyuni, you'll continue on to your safari lodge. Enjoy your first game drive of the trip, followed by a chilled-out dinner in the evening.

Start your day in style with an early-morning game drive. Keep your eyes peeled for majestic lions, lumbering elephants and elegant giraffes. You can admire the distinctive baobab trees within all Tanzania's national parks, but more so in Tarangire National Park. Later, you'll journey to your second safari lodge at Lake Manyara.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its giraffes, hippos, zebra and flamingos. You'll have a quick lunch back at the lodge, before travelling to the North West, traversing stunning highlands filled with wheat and coffee plantations.
Once you reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you can marvel at the vast plains of the Serengeti, home to an abundance of wildlife.

Today is all about safaris, as you can embark on a game drive in both the morning and evening. Your guide will be able to point out exotic birds, the 'Big Five' and much more. Plus, if you're travelling between May and July, you'll have the chance to see the annual Great Migration of more than a million Wildebeest. Fancy something a little different? See everything from a bird’s-eye view when you float over the plains in a hot-air balloon.

Like no place on Earth, the Ngorongoro Crater is the perfect place for viewing wildlife. You'll have the chance to see the rare black rhino, and so many other species of wildlife native to East Africa. After your safari, you'll continue on to your stunning lodge, which is perched up high on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.
