Sun Peaks holidays

Sun Peaks Made Simple

Situated in Canada’s Western Province, British Columbia, Sun Peaks boasts beautiful scenery of all-year-round mountainous views, light-powder snow in the winter and vibrant wildflower displays in the summer. If you’re looking for a fun-filled holiday brimming with outdoor activities such as skiing, biking, hiking, golfing or perhaps just a spot of shopping in the village on Sunday Market Day, this is the destination for you.

Perfect for couples, families and friendship groups alike - this ‘hidden gem’ can be visited anytime between January and December! So whether you’re looking for a summer or winter escape, you can expect an exciting mix between adrenaline-pumping activities, relaxation and entertainment. Not to mention, there a range of restaurants, bars and cafés to try out in the pretty little Sun Peaks village.

If you love a winter getaway, look no further. Sun Peaks is renowned for offering an unforgettable adventure this time of year. As Canada’s second-largest Ski area, you can expect a vast 4,270 acres of skiable terrain! The breathtaking mountains covered in feather-light powder snow make this destination truly magical. And these three skiable peaks - Tod Mountain, Sundance and Mount Morrisey, surround a charming little European-style village of quaint shops and cafes. Wintery bliss!

However, if you are considering a summer holiday to Sun Peaks - there’s still plenty to see and do - and all in extraordinarily beautiful surroundings. You’ll enjoy pleasant temperatures of around 24° whilst participating in many exhilarating activities! How about a chairlift ride up to experience 360-degree alpine views? Or a relaxing stroll along a nature-filled hiking trail? There are many adventures to be had during your summer holidays here, amongst the pine-clan mountains.

With something for all ages, it’s no surprise how popular the Sun Peaks is with families. Thrill seekers can enjoy everything from mountain biking to tennis courts and water activities. So if one thing’s for sure – your toddlers, teens and young adults will never be bored here!
