Anchored in the east of the Caribbean, St Lucia is a pint-sized tropical gem. This luscious spot is instantly recognisable by its dramatic Piton mountains, and is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful isles in the Caribbean. St Lucia is home to postcard-perfect beaches, rich jungles, delicious cuisine – and some truly stunning all-inclusive resorts. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway for two or an unforgettable trip with the kids, an all-inclusive holiday to St Lucia delivers.

You can be as busy or as laidback as you like here. Take it easy as you gaze at rich rainforests from your resort’s infinity pool, unwind with a relaxing spa treatment, or curl up on the white sands with a crushed-ice cocktail and a good book. You can snorkel in the turquoise ocean, or borrow one of the hotel kayaks and head out to sea, to admire the island from afar. Or, if you’d prefer to keep active, why not check out some more adrenaline-pumping options, like jet-skiing, kitesurfing or wakeboarding? Many all-inclusive resorts in St Lucia offer a range of activities and sports, as part of your holiday.

Of course, wining and dining plays a big part in any all-inclusive getaway. In St Lucia, you can look forward to rich, Caribbean flavours and net-fresh seafood. Tuck into a barbecue feast one day, and then enjoy a romantic meal for two beneath the stars the next. Sip your morning coffee with a sea view, and order rum cocktails as the sun sinks below the horizon. Whatever you’re looking for, our travel experts will help you plan the perfect all-inclusive holiday to St Lucia.

How does zooming down a mountain on a zip-line sound? In the heart of St Lucia’s rainforest, you can do just that. Buckle up and fly through the trees above a rushing river, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. Or, if that sounds a little too high-octane, you can opt for a ride inside a gondola instead. Not to be confused with the Venetian boats, these open-air carriages glide over the treetops, giving you a great view of the forest canopy – and you’ll have an expert guide with you to point out bright orchids, giant ferns and speedy hummingbirds.

Alongside its cocoa creations, St Lucia – in true Caribbean style – also produces its own rum. Why not book a tour of the St Lucia Distillery? Or you could simply sample some local rums in your hotel bar, as it’s common for resorts to offer rum-tasting as part of an all-inclusive holiday in St Lucia.

Best time to visit St Lucia

St Lucia’s weather is incredibly straightforward. It’s a tropical Eastern Caribbean island with two distinct seasons and consistent temperatures around 28oC throughout the year. The sea is always warm and balmy, even when it’s raining. And everything’s open for business, whatever the season.
The most popular time to visit St Lucia is between December and May. Naturally, everything’s more expensive during this time of year, but the days are hot and sunny with a lower chance of rain. Plus, lower humidity levels mean you’ll have better conditions for watersports, exploring the jungle and hiking the Pitons.

At the other end of the spectrum, St Lucia’s wet season runs from June to November, and rainfall is particularly between July and October. There’s also a chance of dramatic tropical storms at this time of year. But don’t dismiss early summer completely. May and June are often dry and sunny, and make a great option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly holiday to St Lucia.
