Tarangire National Park Holidays

Although located just off the main and most popular northern Tanzania Safari Circuit, this is still one of the best National Parks in Tanzania. The best time to visit Tarangire National Park is from July to October when the weather is dry, warm and sunny. Not only is the weather exceptional at this time of year, but this is when the animals come from the surrounding areas to drink from the Tarangire River - making this the perfect opportunity for an amazing game drive safari experience. 

The average daytime temperatures are in the mid-to-high twenties, with October being the hottest month of the year, reaching an average temperature of around 33°C.

However, if you visit between November to May, be aware that it’ll be wet season. And what’s best about this time of year? You can expect the vegetation in the park to be beautifully green. And this is also considered the best time for bird watching.
