You want your honeymoon to be perfect, and the weather plays a big part. Mauritius has a tropical climate, which means it’s warm all year round. But some months are better than others.

If you want balmy temperatures – without being too hot – it’s best to book your Mauritius honeymoon between April and June or September and December. At this time of year, humidity is lower and temperatures hover between 23°C and 28°C. So it’s warm enough to relax on the beach, but you’ll also be able to explore in the mornings when it’s milder. 

January and February are best avoided, as these are the wettest months. It’s also worth remembering that, generally speaking, the northern and western parts of the island are warmer and drier than the eastern and southern regions. So keep that in mind when you’re looking at Mauritius hotels.
