Fiji

Nadi & Denarau Holidays

Nadi and Denarau? Doddle.

On the west coast of Viti Levu, bustling Nadi is the gateway to Fiji and is where you’ll find the country’s main international airport. Meanwhile, just a 20-minute drive away, popular Denarau Island is a hub of outdoor activity, serving up an array of beachfront hotels, an 18 hole golf course and a lively marina. Denarau makes an ideal base for a relaxing holiday on the mainland or as a quick overnight stop before departing for, or returning from, the Mamanuca or Yasawa islands.

A holiday to Denarau Island and Nadi allows you to explore some of the top sights on Fiji’s largest island, Viti Levu. Get a taste of local Fijian life as you stroll along the streets of Nadi, lined with eclectic cafes and haphazard shops. Visit the largest Hindu temple in the southern hemisphere. Wander through hundreds of tropical flowers in the Garden of the Sleeping Giant. And sip a crushed-ice cocktail as you watch the sun go down on Wailoaloa Beach.

Denarau Island offers all kinds of things to do for both couples and families. You can take your pick of resort style hotels, zoom on slides in the waterpark, and play 18 holes on the immaculate golf course. Or, for something more sedate, book yourself in for a pamper session at one of the hotel spas. Port Denarau Marina also offers a wide range of restaurants, bars and boutique shopping and is the perfect place to watch the sunset with an ice cold beer in hand.

But the local attractions are just the tip of the iceberg. A holiday to Denarau Island and Nadi puts you in a prime position for exploring Fiji’s islands. From Denarau Marina you’ll have easy access to Fiji's most famous archipelagos – the Mamaunca and Yasawa islands. Take a day trip to explore the idyllic Mamanucas, or be whisked away by ferry for overnight stays on luxury islands.

Whether you use Nadi and Denarau as a base for your entire Fiji holiday or merely as a jumping off point for an island adventure, our travel experts will take care of all the details to make sure you have an unforgettable holiday.
