Los Cabos is known for its nightlife and brilliant beaches. But, if you fancy doing something a little different, there are lots of options for you to choose from. Foodies will want to join one of the incredible taco-tasting tours around Cabo San Lucas. Or, if you fancy some thrills, hit up Wild Canyon Adventure Park for your pick of ATV driving, zip-lining, or bungee jumping.

For a less adrenaline-inducing activity, why not pay a visit to one of Los Cabos’ golf clubs? Cabo del Sol Golf Club is a firm favourite thanks to its spectacular, ocean-side course. Or, you can travel further up the coast to El Dorado Golf & Beach Club to play amid the unique, sand hill-backed scenery.

There are loads of incredible beaches scattered across Los Cabos. But, depending on what you fancy doing, some might be better suited than others. For example, Divorce Beach is perfect for a day spent topping up your tan, but isn’t always great for swimming. With a current this strong, it’s best to admire the spectacular rock formations from the comfort of the powder-soft sand.

However, one of Los Cabos’ most-visited beaches, Medano Beach, is where you can go for some fun in the ocean. Here, the waves are gentle enough for a leisurely swim. Or, if you want a more high-energy activity, you can rent out a kayak, parasail, or jet-ski from one of the local surf shops.

Want to find the best nightlife in Los Cabos? Then look no further than the city of Cabo San Lucas. Although, ‘nightlife’ is used loosely, as the party can start as early as you’d like. During the day, head to one of the beach clubs along Medano Beach for some dance music and drinks. Then, later in the evening you can hit up one of disco ball-adorned nightclubs for even more fun.

Of course, you don’t have to go crazy every night of your Los Cabos holiday. If you fancy a more relaxed night, there are plenty of great restaurants and laid-back bars for you to discover in the area. Tuck into fresh ceviche at Neptune Seafood, or sip on a handcrafted cocktail at Dalton Gin Bar.

Mexico’s Pacific Coast has a tropical climate, with consistent hot temperatures throughout the year. Although, you might want to avoid August and September, as there’s usually a short rainy spell around this time. It’s generally agreed that the best months in terms of weather are May, June and July. The dry, sunny days are perfect for time spent on the beach, and the ocean stays nice and warm.

Los Cabos is a popular Spring Break destination for American tourists. And, depending on what vibe you’re after, it’s something worth thinking about when booking your holiday. Expect a crazy, party atmosphere in March and April, or visit outside this time if you fancy some peace and quiet.
