7 Day Yellowstone & Rocky Mountain Camping Tour

Your tour begins with a drive to the lofty summit through Cedar Breaks, where you'll have fantastic views of ancient lava flows and the Sevier River Valley below. On arrival in Bryce Canyon National Park, you can enjoy a picnic lunch by the canyon rim, before embarking on an afternoon of hiking. Choose between hiking deep into the depths of the canyon to marvel at the sandstone spires, known as 'hoodoos', or simply take a casual stroll along the rim of this natural amphitheatre. You can also learn all about the geology of the landscape on a ranger programme, before spending an evening around a campfire with a tasty American barbecue.

Today, you'll head north towards Utah’s Salt Lake City, for an afternoon of exploration into the history of Mormon Pioneering. Visit the Salt Lake Mormon Temple, admire the State Capital Building, and see founder Brigham Young's Territorial Governor's Mansion.

Gaze out to the Grand Teton Mountain Range, which looms above a rich landscape filled with flora, pristine lakes and lofty peaks. You can venture to Inspiration Point, or enjoy a stroll around Jenny Lake while taking in the splendour of the area. Afterwards, you'll tuck into a picnic lunch. Remember to keep an eye out for some of the local wildlife, such as shy moose and grizzly bears that call this area their home.

Get ready to discover the most famous national park in the USA, and arguably the world. A stunning area of mountain wilderness, thermal wonders and abundant wildlife, Yellowstone is a marvel. You can visit the impressive Old Faithful geyser and the Grand Prismatic Pool, before discovering Yellowstone Canyon and the geysers dotted around both the north and south loops.

You'll have two amazing days to uncover all the natural wealth this enchanting landscape holds, with an expert guide to tell you all about it. Be sure to pack your swimwear for a soak in Mammoth’s natural hot springs.

This morning, you'll have the opportunity to get close to some of the USA's most famous wildlife with a visit to the Yellowstone Grizzly Bear & Wolf Discovery Centre. In the afternoon, you can explore the jaw-dropping scenery of Rocky Mountains. While you're in the Provo Lake region, you can also marvel at staggering views, take a stroll along some fantastic walks, and enjoy lakeside fun. A delicious barbecue wraps up your final full day.
