You'll spend a night at Campbell River before an early start the following morning, when you’ll travel by floatplane to Knight Inlet Lodge. There are various packages you can choose from for this trip, ranging from two nights to six. Whether you'd simply like a taste of the wilderness before continuing to explore British Columbia, or you want the full experience with plenty of excursions and activities, this is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime tour you'll never forget.

Want to get your adrenaline pumping? Take a walk on the wild side on the Capilano Suspension Bridge, which hovers 70 metres above the Capilano River, just north of Vancouver. Day 5 & 6

Campbell River to Knight Inlet

It's an early start today, but it's sure to be worth it. You'll take a transfer from your hotel at Campbell River to the floatplane at 8:15am, ready for a 9:30 departure. You'll enjoy a 25-minute floatplane journey over to Knight Inlet Lodge.

Settle in at the lodge before embarking on a small boat excursion in the estuary. In the afternoon, you'll head on not one, but two tours. The first is a bear-watching tour which, in spring and summer, is done by boat. Between late August and October, meanwhile, you'll be on a viewing platform. After hopefully spotting bears, you'll join a Knight Inlet sightseeing cruise. On all excursions, you'll be accompanied by knowledgeable guides trained in local wildlife and the natural history of the area. In the evening, you can relax in the lounge with the other guests and enjoy an interpretive presentation by one of the guides.

Enjoy a second day at the lodge full-day excursion to Johnstone Strait to see marine life
