At Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort, you’ll be treated to the highest-quality service as soon as you arrive. Staff are on hand to provide a customary Fijian greeting, cold towel, refreshing drink and welcome gift. Once you’ve found your way to your ‘bure’ – a traditional Fijian bungalow with a thatched roof – you’ll be waited on by Talai butlers. Children can be taken care of by the resort’s Meimei nannies, or take part in the supervised activities for kids and teens. Children under 13 even eat for free at three of the resort’s restaurants.
The Bebe Spa Fiji sits on Vakalomalagi Hill (‘Heavenly Hill’ to the locals) above the Outrigger resort. It’s made up of eight treatment rooms with private balconies, all of which have ‘showers in the sky’. Four even have hydrotherapy tubs. If you book into the spa, you’ll be able to enjoy signature treatments involving traditional Fijian ingredients and techniques, as well as Pevonia Botanica products. Between scrubs and rubs, take in unspoilt sea views, thanks to the spa’s elevated position.
With loads of activities and excursions on offer at Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort, there are plenty of opportunities to soak up Fijian culture and mingle with the locals. Every night, there’s a traditional sunset ceremony, where participants light a torch, blow a conch shell, chant and dance. Before you leave, the resort gives every group a parting gift as a memento for your trip to Fiji, and a blessing for a safe journey home.
