If you're looking for relaxation and seclusion, look no further than Zoetry Marigot Bay. Nestled in a beautiful bay and has everything you need for a perfect honeymoon in St Lucia. The calm turquoise waters will have you mesmerised, as you watch the yachts and boats floating in and out. With a small beach nearby that is easily accessed via a private resort water ferry and, two infinity pools to choose from, you'll be nicely relaxed before your cocktails even arrive.

Every beach on the island is public, so you can access all the best places on your St Lucia honeymoon. If you’re looking for straight-off-a-postcard scenery, head to Anse de Pitons. Nestled between St Lucia’s famous twin Pitons, this sweeping bay looks like a painting. You can curl up on the sands next to the soaring peaks, and go for a swim in the bath-warm waters.

If snorkelling is more your thing, make sure you spend a day at Anse Chastanet. This black-sand beach hints at St Lucia’s volcanic past, while the off-shore reef is teeming with tropical fish. You can both hire snorkelling gear, or even book a diving trip. Alternatively, for a relaxing swim and watersports, check out Reduit Beach. With shallow waters and plenty of adrenaline-pumping activities, this popular spot offers the best of both worlds.

If you’re a pair of adrenaline junkies, the best way to see St Lucia’s rainforest is by zip-line. You can fly through the jungle, zooming past exotic plants, rushing rivers and brightly-coloured birds. If that sounds a bit much, hop into an open-air gondola – similar to a cable car – and trundle over the tree canopy for panoramic vistas of the island.

There are several excellent walking trails in St Lucia, too, ranging from simple 45-minute strolls to full-day hikes. For an easy walk with standout views, head to Tet Paul Nature Park, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Pitons. Alternatively, the Millet Bird Sanctuary and Nature Trail is great for bird-watching. It’s best to go early in the morning to have a hope of seeing the rare St Lucia parrot – keep your eyes peeled.

Although the beaches are certainly a major draw of a St Lucia honeymoon, not all of the island’s main attractions are on the coast. Venture inland and you’ll find a variety of things to do. The Sulphur Springs are a great day out for couples, as you can go for a dip in natural pools, cover your skin in mineral-filled mud, then wash it all off in a deeper thermal pool, further along the river. It’ll leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed.

The nearby Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens are also worth a visit. The colourful flowers and exotic plants are lovely, but the highlight is the Diamond Waterfall. Laced with minerals, the water appears to change colour as it tumbles down. In actual fact, the minerals are discolouring the rocks behind the falls, which creates a mesmerising kaleidoscope effect. It’s a great spot for a romantic photo, as a reminder of your honeymoon.
