Your adventure starts as you arrive in Boston where you can pick up your rental car and head on out to explore the city and beyond. As one of the USA's oldest cities, Boston has plenty of highlights and hotspots to see. Be sure to take a walk along the iconic Freedom Trail to see sixteen of the city's most significant historical landmarks before leaving the city.

Heading along the route north of Boston, you'll see some of the coastline's best beaches and sea views, as well as an abundance of history. Stop off at the historic town of Salem before heading for the renowned resort of Kennebunkport, a haven for creatives and your destination for the night.

Continue along the stunning Maine Coast, passing through charming fishing villages on the way to Bar Harbour. Take a pit stop to try some of the local lobster or clam chowder, if you like. Today, you'll head further inland as you make your way ever closer to the majestic White Mountains. Peppered with historic villages and unique covered bridges, this much-loved region is considered the rooftop of New England.

Travel through the White Mountains that divide the New England states of Vermont and New Hampshire. You'll also get to see some truly stunning landscapes, before settling in for the night at Stowe.

Spend some time relaxing on the sandy beaches of Newport or discover the lavish mansions throughout the city before continuing along the coast to Cape Cod. The next day gives you the opportunity to explore the dunes, beaches, trails and cliffs of Cape Cod, not to mention try some of the local dishes in the picturesque villages.
