Private vineyard

Located in the heart of Western Australia’s wine country, Cape Lodge in Margaret River is a wine-lover's dream come true. The estate’s vineyards, which are made up of eight acres of sauvignon blanc and shiraz grapes, were established in 1998. After being initially only served to hotel guests, the wines became so popular that Cape Lodge began selling them online. A small, selective batch of wine is produced every year, to make sure each bottle is as delicious as possible.

There are just 22 rooms and one private residence at Cape Lodge, making a stay here truly special. The hotel is also only open to guests over 12, so it’s the perfect setting for a grown-up getaway on Australia’s magical south-west coast. Plus, with the nearest city about an hour’s drive away, you’ll feel nicely tucked away, so you can properly unwind. If you fancy a change of scenery, the coast is just a 10-minute drive away, and you can visit scenic spots like Quinninup Falls along the way.
