A sweeping coastline

Bophut Beach stretches along the Gulf of Thailand coast for more than four kilometres. Plenty of charming boutiques, eateries and bars sit at the edge of the golden sands, particularly around the Fisherman’s Village area, a 20-minute walk from Anantara Bophut. However, if you’re looking for a peaceful spot to sunbathe, the resort’s main pool and many sun loungers spill out from the boundary wall onto a quiet stretch of the pretty beach. Explorers can head east to the scenic headland, or west to attractions like the Big Buddha statue and Wat Plai Laem, both a 20-minute taxi ride away.
