Dubai Honeymoons - Romantic Ways to Spend Your Time in Dubai

When it comes to desirable honeymoon locations, Dubai is often a strong contender. This shouldn’t come as a surprise. The vast deserts and pristine beaches mean that there is a lot to be admired in terms of aesthetics.  It's not only the natural wonders that are mesmerised either, but also the man-made ones. Dubai is home to some of the most amazing buildings in the world. But it’s not all high rise towers and shopping centres. Dubai really can cater to couples looking to enjoy their honeymoon. Here are a few things you might enjoy doing on a honeymoon in Dubai.

Visit the Beach

Depending on where you are in the world, visiting the beach can be seen as tacky by some. But we’re not talking normal beaches here, we’re talking about beaches with golden sands, blue water and more than enough activities to keep couples entertained.  Two popular beaches within Dubai are Palm Beach and Jumeirah Beach, and both of these offer amazing views during the day and night, and offer couples a varied range of activities such as swimming, sun bathing and water sports.

Enjoy a Romantic Meal

Although this is part-and-parcel with many honeymoons, those who dine in Dubai often have a completely different experience when compared to dining at restaurants at home. Although making a reservation is often recommended, there are a series of different restaurants, all containing their own characteristics.  You could be rubbing shoulders with the elite when visiting one of the many high-end restaurants in Dubai, or simply relaxing at a beach restaurant, admiring the view of the beach as you do so. Regardless of which option you go for, you can be sure that you and your beloved will be enjoying each other’s company, while creating the kind of memories that last a lifetime.

Enjoy a Hot Air Balloon Ride

Have you and your loved one run out of ideas when it comes to romantic experiences in Dubai? Fear not, if the activities provided on the ground have become somewhat exhausted, why not consider taking to the skies in a hot air balloon?

Now, it is likely that the two of you will have to get up early in order to truly embrace the once of a lifetime experience of being in the sky as the fiery orange sun rises over Dubai. There is also a sunset option if early mornings aren't on your honeymoon itinerary! Most hot air balloon rides only take place between September and May, and these are often dependant on the weather conditions.

However, if you are fortunate enough to be celebrating your honeymoon during this time, then why not create some exciting memories and see the wonderful Dubai skyline from a different viewpoint.

View Dubai from The Skies

If the hot air balloon was an enjoyable experience, or you’re simply looking for an alternative with a bit more bite, then why not opt for the Seawing tour? Not only are you and your partner treated to a series of different views that just can’t be seen from the ground, but you are also welcomed on board with luxurious seating, individual window seats and first-class service that the more seasoned of Dubai visitors have come to expect.

Spend Some Time with The Animals

Are you or your partner an animal lover? Then why not visit the famous Al Dhabi family farm, which offer visitors a series of activities that include horse-riding. This may seem generic in the first instance, but you need to remember that you are able to ride your horse as the majestic sun sets in the background, can you really think of anything more romantic?

Other Reasons for Couples to Consider Dubai for their honeymoon

Although a series of activities have been listed, these are only the tip of the iceberg. Dubai is a city that always seems to be evolving, and as such, offers a number of venues and visitor attractions to make your honeymoon in Dubai a truly memorable one.

  • The calm and clear water found in Dubai makes it an ideal location for sailing fans.
  • There are a number of various indoor ski resorts if you and your partner are looked for something with a little adrenaline boost.
  • Those who enjoy admiring the workmanship found within the architecture of Dubai should look to visit Burj Khalifa, which has been billed as the tallest skyscraper in the world.
  • While not grown naturally, the tourist infusion Dubai has enjoyed has led them to ensure it is as luxurious as possible. This has led Dubai to invest a series of man-made palm trees, as they are believed to be associated with success and wealth, just like Dubai itself.

While your honeymoon is, of course, a one off experience. There is so much going on in Dubai that it warrants a repeat visit, or three....
