Arrive Pretoria

On arrival into Pretoria you will be met and taken to your hotel for a one night stay.

Days 2-5

Rovos Rail

Departing at 10am from Pretoria train station, your epic rail journey begins! Enjoy lunch and dinner on board as you head north crossing the Tropic of Capricorn as evening falls. Watch from the open air deck in the observation car as the landscapes roll past and enjoy the luxurious atmosphere on board, reminiscent of a bygone era.

On the second day you will travel through Zimbabwe, passing by Bulawayo, considered the industrial and business capital. Enjoy afternoon tea with the view before getting dressed up and sitting down for a delicious meal sourced with local ingredients.

Your last full day on board takes you to Hwange National Park where you will enjoy a game drive from one of Zimbabwe's best loved properties, The Hide before continuing your journey north to Victoria Falls.

Days 5-6

Victoria Falls

You will arrive into Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe at 10am this morning and be taken to your hotel located close to the falls.

Why not book a tour of the falls this afternoon or a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River? A spectacular sight Victoria Falls is a must-see for anyone visiting the region.

Days 6-9

Chobe National Park

You will collected this morning and taken by land transfer to Kasane Airport where you will be greeted and escorted by safari vehicle through the Chobe National Park to your lodge, home for the next three nights.

Located on the quieter side of Chobe, Muchenje Safari Camp offers spectacular views of the Chobe River and surrounding flood plains. And, while only two hours from Victoria Falls, it feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist centre.

Owner run and managed, Muchenje offers a home from home safari experience with all the modern comforts, including outdoor dining overlooking the waterhole and an fire pit for nights under the stars. All guides are local and have extensive guide training as well as a true passion for the area, and, with both land and boat safaris available, you will get to see the best Chobe has to offer.
