When it comes to the great outdoors, North Canada really comes into its own. The western-province Yukon has three incredible national parks, each with their own unique appeal. There are loads of must-see destinations in Canada, with a wealth of top attractions along both the east and west side of the country.
If you’re spending some time over in the province of Ontario, a trip to Niagara Falls should definitely be on your itinerary. All year round, the mighty waterfall is a sight to behold. But, if you’re visiting during the summer season, you can take an elevator ride down to the bottom of the gorge and get within touching-distance of the rapids at the White Water Walk. And, while you’re in Ontario, you might want to visit the iconic CN Tower, where you can walk the glass floors and catch panoramic views of Toronto from over 100 feet in the air.

Spend a day cycling round Stanley Park and see the incredible First Nations Totem Poles that still stand on the parks grounds. Or, you can head over to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and get your dose of adrenaline by attempting the thrilling Treetop Adventure, before visiting the Story Centre to learn all about the site’s rich history. Within the wider province of British Columbia there are many bear lodges where you can go between May and October each year.
