TAKE A WALK ON THE WILD SIDE

Wildlife holidays are often our customers' favourite type of holiday, and a holiday to the USA is no exception.

Get your wildlife fix in Wyoming and Yellowstone National Park, and go in search of wolves in Lamar Valley. If that’s not enough, make your way to Grand Teton Nation Park to see some more incredible creatures. Hike through the spectacular grounds for a chance to spot thick-furred, lumbering bison, or nimble-footed pronghorn as they leap through the grassy meadows.

Alaska has a great variety of wildlife, ranging from bears to bison. Denali National Park is a brilliant place to see Alaska’s animals, and there’s a good chance you’ll cross paths with deer, caribou, foxes, and red squirrels. And, if you go on a guided walk with a ranger, you might be lucky enough to spot moose, wolves, and grizzly bears. There are also plenty of whale-watching opportunities throughout the year, but June to September is when sightings are more common. Spot humpback, grey, and beluga whales as well as orcas and porpoises in Glacier Bay National Park.

Off the Kohala Coast on the Big Island in Hawaii, enjoy snorkeling with the manta rays - a fantastic way to see these incredible underwater creatures. Or head to Makena Bay on Maui to see the turtles swimming in the ocean and maybe even a black-tip shark in the Molokini Crater.
