EASY RIDING

Sundance Guest Ranch offers spectacular views and easy comfort, but it's the horse riding you’ll remember most. Humans and horses are paired up at the start of each stay and, so long as everyone gets along, you’re partners from then on. Trained and patient wranglers ensure every rider enjoys the best possible ranch experience. Sundance offers varied ride levels from first-timers to old hats and collects basic pre-arrival information so you’re assigned to the right ride from day one.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY

Anyone aged 7 and above can ride at Sundance and there’s plenty for younger kids too. Well-maintained lawns are perfect for safe play while a dedicated children’s games room means there’s never a shortage of entertainment. At night, there’s a movie lounge and each Standard Room has space for two beds with an additional rollaway. In summer, there’s even more for the family to enjoy with a heated outdoor pool and complimentary childminding offered every weekday in July and August.

APRÉS SADDLE

Ride hard and relax in style at Sundance. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at a licensed restaurant overlooking the pasture where the ranch’s horses are left to gallop free after their day at work. Away from the kitchen, an adult-only BYOB lounge complete with stone fireplace and large outdoor deck invites guests to get to know each other over a drink, or three, after a hard day’s riding. Things can get pretty lively at weekends, but there’s plenty of space to retreat if you prefer peacefulness to partying.

Dining Room

From breakfast to supper, Sundance’s talented chefs offer ‘comfort food kicked up a notch’. Set menus and daily specials mean there are always old favourites to be enjoyed and something new to tempt. Vegetarians and dietary requirements are catered for and the premises is licensed to serve alcohol. While the food is famous throughout the region, it’s the evening view of galloping horses from the restaurant windows that will really blow you away.

Lounge

Faithful to its original 60s styling, the ranch’s adult-only BYOB bar lounge is the best place to relax and share stories at the end of each day. Whether it's cosy fireside chats or full-blown parties, this lounge has seen it all and will again. On warm nights, the outdoor deck is the perfect place to sit back and watch the sunset.

Rooms & Suites

Sundance Guest Ranch offers Standard and King Rooms on a single level with comfortable furnishings and private bathrooms in every accommodation. Accessed by a covered boardwalk beside the ranch lawns, these one-level wooden rooms offer everything a guest could need with incredible views right outside the door.
