SCOTTSDALE? SORTED.

FIVE STARS. ZERO FAFF.

G'DAY GOLD COAST

SCOTTSDALE? SORTED.

The sun-soaked city of Scottsdale seamlessly combines modern-day style with Wild West Charm. The city is peppered with art galleries, top-notch hotels, and retro landmarks. There’s plenty to see and do here – you’ll browse the Scottsdale Museum of Modern Art one day and admire an age-old church built by the city’s first Mexican settlers the next!

If you venture further out of the city, you’ll find dozens of world-class golf courses, including the award-winning TPC Scottsdale. Why not spend a few days at the luxurious Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in the Sonoran Desert? You’ll enjoy award-winning dining, a lavish spa, and one of the world’s top golf courses, where they host the legendary PGA Tour.

We recently sent a group of our Travel Specialists and our USA Product Manager, Geoff, to Scottsdale, where they enjoyed a sunrise hot air balloon flight, a guided e-bike tour, and a scenic nature walk. How about exploring McDowell Sonoran Preserve’s trails, which are ideal for hiking and biking, or put on your trainers and trek to the top of Camelback Mountain for sweeping desert views? For something extra special, the team spent a night at ADERO Scottsdale, a retreat just outside the city. The 748 square foot Dark Sky Corner suites are the ultimate room choice – complete with a 250 square foot wraparound balcony with sliding doors. Why not take full advantage of Scottsdale’s only Dark Sky Zone by stargazing on a warm desert night? Our Travel Specialists’ highlight was the amazing restaurants available. There were many to choose from, but The Mission Kierland was their favourite, with its fantastic food and cocktails.

G'DAY GOLD COAST

Just an hour’s drive from Brisbane, the glamorous Gold Coast is one of Australia’s most visited destinations. With 40 miles of sun-soaked beaches and five theme parks, the Gold Coast is a fantastic choice for a holiday in Australia.
Create lasting memories at one of the Gold Coast’s many theme parks. Whether you want to ride the hair-raising rollercoasters at Dreamworld or let the little ones burn off their energy in the fun maze. If waterparks are more your thing, spend a day splashing around on the slides and rides at Wet’ n’ Wild. Thrill seekers can try the Kamikaze slide, while others may choose to take it easy on the lazy river.

Located at the heart of the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise is a vibrant seaside town. Bask on the two-mile beach’s soft sands while the kids splash in the shallow waters. You can grab a plate at the beachside cafés and restaurants or take a moment to search for souvenirs in promenade shops. After sunset, watch the world go by from Cavill Avenue’s pavement eateries and bars, or enjoy an evening stroll along the illuminated esplanade. Why not go to Skypoint and take the lift to the 77th-floor observation deck? Prepare for jaw-dropping 360-degree views.

Head inland to the Gold Coast Hinterland, where National Parks are a speciality. Explore the Gondwana Rainforests of Springbrook National Park or hike along Lamington National Park’s walking trails. Alternatively, you can get away from it all and spend a few days at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat. Here, you’ll enjoy Segway safaris, e-bike tours, and stargazing experiences - plus their own treetop walk, which is formed by nine suspension bridges over a canopy.
Whether you’re planning a Gold Coast holiday or a bigger adventure Down Under, you’ll find plenty to do in this corner of Australia.

Foodie Heaven

There are countless reasons to travel the world, but delicious food stands out from the rest. Dubai is a culinary giant with an impressive 106 food and drink activities, far surpassing other top cities. Renowned for its luxury dining scene, it is home to many world-famous restaurants, such as Nusr-Et – led by ‘Salt Bae’ – and Pierchic, known for offering a stunning overwater dining experience. The city is also famed for its extravagant food trends, from 24K gold-covered steaks to the legendary Cheesecake Factory’s towering desserts.

Ubud

One of the top destinations to add to any beach holiday in Bali is the central town of Ubud. Set in a countryside dominated by rice fields and tropical rainforest, Ubud is a centre for art, wellness, and food. It is a favourite spot for yoga and cycling, with a fine collection of galleries and cafés. It is also home to some of Bali’s best pool villa hotels. Adding a two or three-night Ubud stay to your Bali itinerary is a fantastic way to see a different side of the island. Visiting this region opens opportunities to visit the enchanting Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary; the UNESCO recognised Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, and Munduk Village’s scenic landscapes.

Candian walk on the wild side

Canada holidays are all about the great outdoors, so it’s hardly surprising that it’s a great destination for wildlife. Bears can be found across Canada, from the forests of Quebec and New Brunswick to Alberta’s Rocky Mountains. Along with grizzly, black, and spirit bears, Canada is also home to roughly 17,000 polar bears. Churchill is the best place to see them, where they roam around the edge of Hudson Bay. While Canada is known for its bears, there are also around 33 whale species in the waters off Canada’s east and west coasts. Whale-watching trips are available in small zodiacs, sailing boats, and cruisers, and in Newfoundland, you can even spot whales from the shore.
