Opened in December 2019, this is one of the newest hotels in Antigua. Hammock Cove is perfect for honeymooners or couples looking for a romantic tropical escape. This boutique resort is fully all-inclusive so all your meals, drinks and non-motorised sports are included. And it’s a great location, too. Tucked in a secluded bay on the island’s east coast, it’s right next to Devil’s Bridge National Park. This unique site has a natural rock arch and several blowholes, which shoot up water from the Atlantic Ocean’s waves.
There are just two villa types to choose from here and they both offer beautiful views of the surrounding bay. The Waterview Villas are slightly set back from the water’s edge and offer modern amenities and a fresh décor with Caribbean touches. Meanwhile, the Waterfront Villas are right by the sea, as the name suggests, so you can look forward to uninterrupted views. Every villa has a large outdoor patio, with comfy loungers and a private plunge pool.
This adults-only hotel is the perfect place to relax – but you’ll find plenty of activities too. You get out on the water with some stand-up paddle-boarding and snorkelling. Or try your hand at pickleball, which is a mixture of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Hammock Cove Resort & Spa also offers yoga classes, as well as seasonal talks that focus on art, literature and local culture. And, when you want to simply sit back and relax, you can chill by the three-tier infinity pool with a refreshing drink from On The Rocks.
