Overview

Like nowhere else on Earth, Kenya’s vast wilderness offers epic adventures. And our seven-day Classic Kenya tour is the best way to discover it all for yourself. Starting in Nairobi, this carefully-planned itinerary allows you to explore some of the country’s most amazing places, all in one easy trip.

You’ll go on guided safaris in the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, keeping your eyes peeled for the ‘Big Five’ – lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant. See elegant flamingos at Lake Nakuru, and marvel at the stunning scenery of Lake Elementaita. And you’ll embark on incredible game drives in Amboseli National Park, with Mount Kilimanjaro towering above.

There are a number of optional experiences, too. Enjoy breath-taking landscape views across the plains of Africa in the Masai Mara, to admire Mother Nature’s handiwork from above. Or take a guided walk with a naturalist in Amboseli, to find out more about the park’s varied birdlife. Whatever you decide, this wonderful week-long tour is sure to be one to remember.

Day 1

Your journey begins in Kenya's capital city Nairobi. You'll be met at the airport, and transferred to Nairobi Serena Hotel, on the edge of the Central Park. You'll be surrounded by glorious jacaranda, bougainvillea and acacia trees, amid the lush, manicured gardens. It's the perfect place to start your adventure. You can spend the rest of today at your leisure. Why not freshen up after your flight, then explore the city?
