And don’t forget Washington D.C. Crammed with significant landmarks, the USA’s capital is a history-buff’s dream. You can visit countless museums – including the National Museum of American History – and see postcard-worthy sites like the Lincoln Memorial, the National Mall and the White House.

The best time for your USA motorhome adventure very much depends on where you want to go. Each state’s climate is slightly different but, in general, spring and autumn are bright and fresh. Spring is a fantastic time to visit California or Florida, as you can explore the national parks and sandy beaches before the summer crowds arrive. The East Coast is lovely at this time of year, too – but autumn is also a great time to go, as you can see New England’s red and gold foliage.

Depending on your route, winter can be an unpredictable time for a motorhome trip to the USA, as some mountainous national parks – like Yellowstone and Yosemite – will be closed if there’s heavy snow. At the other end of the spectrum, summers in the States are often hot and humid. You can expect Southern states, such as Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee, to be very warm. The smallest C-Class RV is the efficient C19. It is narrower and will fit into a regular car parking slot. It’s perfect for a couple with its large double bed over the cab, kitchen at the back, and all those other facilities. If you have a young child, the dining table easily drops to make the dinette into another bed.

The Compact Plus vehicle is one of the smallest C-Class RV’s. It features a new and improved layout and is narrower than the larger motorhomes. It fits into a regular parking space and it’s perfect for up to 4 people with its large double bed over the cab and in the back. The dining table converts easily into a bed making the perfect length for a journey with friends or a small family.

A medium-size vehicle, the C25, has been a stalwart of fleet design for many years. With a rear corner double bed as well as a double bed over the cab it is ideal for two couples or a family of up to five – like the C19 the dinette area easily converts to another bed.

The C30 vehicle is the largest motorhome in the fleet. Its special feature is the large separate bedroom at the rear with its 5ft wide bed! There is also a double bed over the cab, a convertible sofa-bed and a convertible dinette bed. The shower is separate from the toilet/ basin as well in the C30.
