Hua Hin

Hua Hin is the second stop on your Thai adventure. Just a three-hour drive south from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, this beach resort offers a refreshing mix of city and seaside. You’ll find long, sandy beaches, stylish hotels and Black Mountain Water Park. Ideal for families, this place features nine different water slides, a wave pool, lazy river and much more.

One thing not to be missed is Hua Hin railway station. This might sound like a somewhat unusual must-see, but it’s one of the oldest in Thailand and certainly the prettiest. There are lots of markets in Hua Hin, too, so you can easily spend hours browsing the stalls and picking up souvenirs. After a busy day, you’re sure to have worked up an appetite – so you’ll be pleased to know that Hua Hin’s cuisine packs a punch, with plenty of flavour and authenticity.
