Day 1: Arrive in Lima
Arrive in Lima at any time.
Days 2-3: Cuzco
Catch an early flight into Cuzco, the illustrious capital of Peru, spend the day exploring the city’s numerous wonders alone or on an optional tour. Be sure to see the Plaza de Armas, filled with historical stone arcades and the façade of the Church of La Compañía de Jesus. Visit the Qurikancha, a once sanctuary to the Sun God Inti during the Incan Empire. Navigate the streets of the colonial buildings to Hatun Rumiyuq and see the magnificent stonework of the Stone of Twelve Angles, a huge landmark in the city’s history.
Day 4: Sacred Valley & Ollantaytambo
Take a guided tour of the Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo excavation site and ruins filled with intricate Incan designs and architecture. Continue on to a Planeterra weaving community project, and take the opportunity to browse a local marketplace.
Days 5-8: Inca Trail & Machu Picchu
Spend the next four days on a guided hiking trail and visit the glorious Machu Picchu, located on a ridge above the Sacred Valley, it is considered the most iconic of the Incan monuments and is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Explore the dry stone walls of the once intact site as it slowly progresses along with its restoration. Take an additional optional trip to the Inca Bridge which was used as access to Machu Picchu, before finally returning to Cuzco.

Day 9: Cuzco
Spend the day at your leisure, exploring further into the city of Cuzco, or alternatively try your hand at white water rafting, mountain biking, or horseback riding.
Day 10: Puno
Travel by bus through the glorious landscape of the Altiplano; a wide, arid backdrop, considered the second highest plateau of elevation in the world. You will arrive today in Puno, known as the folkloric capital of Peru due to its strong cultural and artistic influences in the area.
Days 11-12: Lake Titicaca & Taquile Island
Puno is situated next to Late Titicaca, which you will take a guided tour of today, as well as the floating islands of Uros; man-made islands that house a pre-Incan population and has become a mainstay attraction for tourists. Enjoy a homestay in a small village and take an optional visit to Sillustani; an ancient burial ground made up of several tombs and chullpas formed using complex architectural designs when compared to the Incan style.

Day 13: La Paz
Cross the border via bus into Bolivia and depart in the city of La Paz; a cultural hotspot that is situated in a bowl, surrounded by mountain tops of the Altiplano.
Day 14: Tiahuanaco - La Paz
Visit today the ruins of the Tiwanaku; a civilization that predates the Incan Empire. See the intricate architecture of the ancient race up close, with their use of red sandstone and human visages carved into the very rock. Return afterwards to La Paz.
Day 15: Depart La Paz
Depart La Paz at any time for your return flight home.
