Day 1: Arrive in Santiago
Arrive in Santiago at any time and transfer to your designated hotel.
Day 2: Santiago
Day one begins in the capital of Chile, the beautiful city of Santiago. The winding streets embrace a heavy neoclassical architectural design, with a number of impressively built landmarks of import, including the Municipal Theatre of Santiago and the Fine Arts Museum. Today you will be have the opportunity to experience a wine tasting tour in the neighbouring region of Maipo Valley, famous for its production of vintages, especially Cabernet Sauvignon. In the evening return to Santiago.

Days 3-4: Puerto Varas
Catch a flight over to Puerto Montt and transfer to Puerto Varas, a charming city located on the shore of Llanquihue Lake and whose culture is steeped in Germanic tradition. The snow-capped peak of the colossal Osorno Volcano is clearly visible from the lake side and serves as a highlight of the array of picturesque vistas around the city. Take a tour of the bustling Angelmo fish market before heading down the scenic “Southern Highway”. Stop at the local community of Quillaipe and taste the traditional curanto meal, a speciality of the region.

Days 5-6: Bariloche
Transfer by bus and then ferry to the city of Bariloche, an Alpine styled municipality located at the base of the Andes. Take a view of the wild waters of the Petrohue Falls, and then on to the ‘Cruce de los Lagos’, a scenic cruise that offers a number of beautiful sights as you cross the lake. Take an optional tour for a boat excursion to the quaint town of Puerto Blest.

Days 7-9: Buenos Aires
Fly over to Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, and birthplace of the Tango dance and music style. The city emanates culture, from its populated streets to the European style architecture found throughout. Take a city tour, or spend your time as you wish, navigating the many streets and uncovering the various museums and landmarks. You have the opportunity to enjoy a dinner and tango show, or take a day trip to Tigre Delta.

Days 10-11: Iguassu Falls
Fly over to the legendary Iguassu Falls and spend the next two days exploring both the Argentine and Brazilian sides of the cascading waters. Take an optional boat ride to the foot of the falls or visit a local bird park.

Days 12-13: Paraty
Fly to Sao Paulo and continue on to the town of Paraty where you can indulge in the local culture at a nearby Afro-Brazilian community. Take an optional participatory demonstration of local handicrafts or dance classes, followed by a traditional meal. Visit the local cachaca distillery or take a boat trip to neighbouring islands and beaches.

Day 14: Rio de Janeiro
Head over to Rio de Janeiro and spend the time at your leisure to explore the beautiful capital of Brazil. Roam the vibrant city and uncover the unique landmarks on your own or on an optional city tour.
