Day 1: Arrive in Lima
Arrive in Lima, the capital of Peru, and transfer to your designated hotel.

Day 2: Lima
Delve into the colonial streets of Lima and experience the enriching atmosphere of the Plaza Mayor, the heart of the city and part of the Historical Centre of Lima. Surrounded by a number of cultural landmarks such as the San Francisco Monastery and Basilica Cathedral of Lima, the plaza is a beautiful setting of historical importance, beautifully finished with an impressive bronze fountain.
Afterwards, take a tour of the pre-Inca pyramid of Huaca Huallamarca, and the flower-filled parks and beaches of the Miraflores District that overlooks the Pacific Ocean.

Day 3: Lima - The Sacred Valley
Transfer to Lima Airport and catch a flight to the city of Cuzco before continuing on to the majestic beauty of the Sacred Valley. Browse the stalls of the energetic Pisac marketplace, filled with traditional colours and handicrafts. Next stop is the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo, once a great stronghold, now majestic ruins of a time gone by.

Day 4: The Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu
Take a spectacular journey to the town of Aguas Calientes via railway before taking a bus to the mystical archaeological site of Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of the wondrous site, filled with a timeless ambiance, the splendour of the Inca monuments overlook the Sacred Valley, offering a unique view from above.

Day 5: Machu Picchu - Cuzco
Spend the morning at leisure, feel free to return to the ruins of Machu Picchu to watch as the suns first light bathes the area in a breathtaking spectacle before returning to Cuzco in the afternoon.

Day 6: Cuzco
Explore the amazing city of Cuzco, once considered the capital of the Inca Empire, housing a number of significant monuments, including the temple Coricancha, the most important temple of the Incas, dedicated to Inti, the Sun God. The walls of the temple were once lavished in pure gold, before the Spanish conquistadors arrived.

Day 7: Cuzco - Puno
Ride the Andean Explorer train on a scenic voyage to the city of Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca, passing by isolated villages and beautiful snow-capped mountain ranges.

Day 8: Lake Titicaca - Sun Island
Travel to Copacabana in Bolivia and cruise in a hydrofoil across to Moon Island and discover the ruins of an ancient Inca Temple. Continue on to Sun Island, considered by locals to be the birthplace of the Incas.

Day 9: Sun Island - Huatajata
After looking around the Inca ruins and fountain, you will be transferred by hydrofoil to Huatajata, a traditional, culture-filled centre of the Bolivian highlands. Learn about the natural healers of Bolivia at The Mystic World of the Kallawayas, visit the Andean Roots Eco Village, and finally spend the evening at the Native Observatory Alajpacha.

Day 10: Floating Islands - La Paz & Moon Valley
Take a tour today of the floating islands of the Uros people, man-made islands made entirely from reeds that were once used as a tactical defence strategy. Transfer afterwards to La Paz and accompany a guide on a city tour of the modern and colonial districts, as well as the Indian and Witch Doctor markets. Continue on to the Moon Valley and witness the other-worldly landscape filled with intriguing rock formations.

Day 11: La Paz - Buenos Aires

Days 12-13: Buenos Aires
Spend the next 2 days discovering the wonders of the beautiful city of Buenos Aires. Weave in and out of the bustling streets, from the vibrantly coloured houses of La Boca to the serene parks and monuments of Palermo. Be sure to pay a visit to the cemetery of Evita in the stylish Recoleta neighbourhood. On the first night, taste the local Argentinean cuisine and enjoy an authentic Tango show.

Day 14: Buenos Aires - Iguassu Falls

Day 15: Iguassu Falls
Take a morning tour across the border into the heart of the Argentine national park. Marvel at the stunning views as you approach the breathtaking spectacle of the misty Iguassa Falls from the Argentinean side. In the afternoon compare your previous experience of the falls to the cascading waters of the Brazilian side, set amongst verdant tropics. An optional helicopter ride over the falls or Macuco boat safari are both on offer but not included in the price of this tour.

Day 16: Iguassu Falls - Rio de Janeiro

Day 17: Corcovado & Sugar Loaf Mountain
Traverse some of Rio’s most sublime landscapes; take a train ride through the deep greens of Tijuca Forest to the peak of Corcovado. The top of Corcovado is the resting place of the legendary Statue of Christ, and the setting offers awe inspiring vistas of the surrounding areas. Afterwards, travel in a cable car up to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain for another amazing panoramic view of the city below.

Day 18: Rio de Janeiro
