Day 1: Arrive in Rio de Janeiro
Arrive in Rio de Janeiro where you will be met and transferred to your hotel overlooking the Copacabana Beach.

Day 2: Rio de Janeiro
Spend the morning at leisure in the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro, a city known for its lively atmosphere and carnival culture. Join the travel director later for a more in-depth tour of the city’s cultural backdrop, from the colonial Canelaria Church to the more modern Sambodromo Opera House.  Take a walk around Flamengo Park before reaching the beautiful summit of Sugarloaf Mountain via cable car, where you can look upon the wondrous cityscape with its coastline and beaches.

Day 3: Rio de Janeiro
Journey today to the peak of Corcovado hill, the site of The Statue of Christ the Redeemer; one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, which stands looking down upon the city. Afterwards, head over to the sands of the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches before enjoying a Highlight Lunch at a local eatery. Spend the remainder of the day at your own leisure, revisiting some of the landmarks or discovering all new ones for yourself.

Day 4: Rio de Janeiro
Take today to explore and further familiarise yourself with the city of Rio, perhaps try some of the local delicacies or browse the boutiques and shopping outlets of the inner city. In the evening you will learn how to make the national Brazilian cocktail, Caipirinha, followed by a traditional barbecue dinner at a churrascaria. Embrace the Rio spirit as you enjoy the entertainment of a lively show of Samba.

Day 5: Rio de Janeiro – Iguassu Falls
Brazil’s fine jewellery and gemstones are renowned the world over, and in the morning you will watch the process of turning the rough, raw metal and gemstone materials into beautiful, extravagant works of art and design. Afterwards, catch a flight to the majestic Iguassu Falls, a body of rushing water that straddles the border between Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. In the evening you are welcome to a welcome dinner with your travel companions.

Day 6: Iguassu Falls
Take a tour of Iguassu National Park, filled with rare and exotic species of both flora and fauna, further emphasising the tropical nature of the world that surrounds you. Spend the morning exploring the base of the Brazilian side of the falls as you cut through the rainforest. Enjoy a Highlight Lunch at a nearby restaurant with a beautiful view of the falls before spending the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 7: Iguassu Falls – Buenos Aires
Cross over into Argentina and acquaint yourself with the lay of the land at the Vistors Centre. View the falls from a unique perspective as you ride the Ecological Jungle Train to the Devils Throat. Catch a flight afterwards to Buenos Aires, Argentina’s amazing capital, filled with gourmet eateries, cultural landmarks, intricately designed colonial buildings, as well as grand museums and theatres. Enjoy a late afternoon buffet followed by a talk and presentation by a local expert on the lifestyles and traditions of the Argentineans.

Day 8: Buenos Aires
Join a local guide on a thorough tour of the fervent city and birthplace of the Tango. Visit the colourful, art district of La Boca, and the famous open-air market of San Telmo, as well as the parks and cafes of Palermo. Visit the shop of a local leather artisan who will show you how he creates his leather goods and local specialities. Call in at the elegant Recoleta, the resting place of Eva Peron, Argentina’s former first lady. Spend the afternoon at your leisure before accompanying your fellow guests for a Be My Guest experience at the residence of a family who inhabit the chic district of Palermo Soho. Enjoy some of the local wine vintages, and dine on local home-cooked cuisine as you learn how to knead bread like a pro.

Day 9: Buenos Aires
Enjoy a leisurely morning, familiarising yourself with the ‘Paris of South America’. Be sure to visit the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in the Recoleta neighbourhood or relax in some of the finest cafes in the city, including the famed Cafe Tortoni. Take the opportunity for an optional tour to visit Uruguay’s Colonia del Sacramento, home of The Basilica of the Holy Sacrament and a number of museums. Another optional tour takes you to the rural ranches of the countryside where cowboys can show you their equestrian skills and educate you on their traditional lifestyles while sharing a parrillada lunch. Enjoy a Highlight dinner in the evening and watch as passionate tango dancers perform for you to some of Argentina’s most beloved musical beats.

Day 10: Buenos Aires - Santiago
Head to the airport and catch a flight from one beautiful city to another as you cross the Andes to Chile’s capital, Santiago. Spend your evening at leisure, relaxing or exploring the vicinity which houses a number of boutiques and fine dining options.

Day 11: Santiago
Venture through the wine-producing Maipo Valley, a location that produces some of Chile’s most traditional and significant vintages. Enjoy a delicious highlight Lunch served on the grounds of a beautiful winery. Learn about the process of wine-making first hand from a local expert followed by a well-deserved taste. Once back in the city, join an expert for a tour of the bustling city, seeing such sights as Club Hipico and Parque O-Higgins en route. Pass by the Church of San Francisco on the way to the cultural Plaza de Armas, with its intricate architectural structures of fountains and sculptures. San Cristobal Hill offers breathtaking panoramic views over the cityscape and snow-capped Andes in the distance.

Day 12: Santiago
Indulge your senses at leisure around Santiago with an optional tour to the port city of Valparaiso on offer. Follow up by visiting the extravagant mansions, historic casino, and soft sanded beaches of Vina del Mar. The evening consists of a farewell dinner with your travelling companions.
