Day 1: Arrive in Vancouver
Welcome to the vibrant port city of Vancouver. On arrival at Vancouver Airport, transfer to your luxury downtown hotel in the centre of the city’s leading shopping and entertainment district. Later, join your Tour Director for a Welcome Reception and a joyous evening of dinner and wine.

Days 2-3: Victoria
Experience the best of Vancouver during your tour of the city. Explore the historic streets of Gastown, the oriental splendour of Chinatown, the eclectic community of English Bay and view the famous native totem poles in Stanley Park. Board your ferry and relax in the comfortable Seawest Lounge while enjoying complimentary beverages, light snacks and scenic coastal views all the way to Victoria. On arrival, an orientation tour introduces you to the Inner Harbour, the elaborate Parliament Buildings and Bastion Square. Greet the next day with breakfast at the renowned Butchart Gardens, which have enchanted visitors for over a hundred years. A representative will give a brief talk on the gardens and the history of the Butchart family. Then there is ample time to explore the beautiful floral displays, winding paths and impressive views. The remainder of the day is at leisure in Victoria.

Day 4: Victoria - Whistler
Travel across the Strait of Georgia back to the mainland and continue along the picturesque Sea-to-Sky Highway. Enjoy a stop at the gorgeous Shannon Falls before ascending up and over the Coast Mountains. In Whistler, join a local guide for a tour of the village and learn about this 2010 Olympic venue. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. Dinner tonight is a culinary experience, made with only the best local ingredients and served at one of your resorts fine restaurants.

Day 5: Whistler - Napa Valley
Head to Kelowna in the sun kissed Okanagan Valley, one of Canadas most adored vacation areas. The rich Okanagan region is Canadas wine capital, home to a world-class wine community. Visit a striking winery, sample a myriad of delicious local wines, and develop your palate with the help of some expert tips.

Days 6-7: Napa Valley - Banff National Park
Travel through four of Canadas most amazing National Parks: Mount Revelstoke, Yoho, Glacier and Banff. Travel from ancient forests to Ice Age glaciers, from wondrous waterfalls to towering peaks. At Kicking Horse Pass, cross the Continental Divide, where all the rivers of North America are diverted to the Pacific or Atlantic Oceans. Enjoy a tour of Banff before arriving at your hotel. While here, experience customary, local and modern dining at your choice of one of the Fairmonts fine restaurants. Enjoy leisure time in Banff the next day.

Day 8: Banff National Park - Louise, Moraine and Emerald Lakes
Enjoy an interpretive stroll along the coast of Lake Louise and learn about the history and geography of this awe-inspiring area before moving on to Moraine Lake, crowned by ten notable peaks. As you approach Yoho National Park, stop at the Spiral Tunnels viewpoint and learn about the history of these famed tunnels. Pass by the impressive Natural Bridge, patiently carved by the Kicking Horse River before arriving at Emerald Lake, one of Canadas most stupendous wilderness settings. After dinner, indulge in a liqueur at the hotel before stargazing under the night sky and roasting smores on a campfire by lakeside.

Days 9-10: Emerald Lake - Jasper National Park
Drive along the remarkable Icefields Parkway and see amazing scenery such as Crowfoot Glacier hanging unusually from a cliff face, and Columbia Icefield, North Americas largest sub-polar ice pack. Climb aboard a specially-designed Ice Explorer at Athabasca Glacier for a unique tour over steep grades, ice and snow as you climb partway up the daunting glacier. En route to Jasper, perhaps join an optional gentle float trip down the Athabasca River. Stay in the heart of Jasper National Park over the next few days, an alpine wonderland of colossal forests, shimmering lakes, cascading waterfalls, soothing natural hot springs, craggy glaciers, vibrant meadows and grandiose mountains. Tonight, enjoy a special Highlight Dinner with wine at your hotel. Join your Tour Director in the morning for an interpretive walk at Maligne Canyon, one of the most beautiful gorges in the Canadian Rockies. Walk along the canyons trail, past falling waterfalls, amazing rock formations, and learn about the subterranean river system. Join a presentation about some of the parks most interesting residents including grizzly bear, elk, moose, beaver, caribou, bighorn sheep, black bear, and mountain goat. The rest of the day is yours to do as you please. Jasper is the base for a host of optional tours and activities. Perhaps enjoy a boat cruise on Maligne Lake or join a guided nature walk at Mount Edith Cavell along the Path of the Glacier.

Day 11: Jasper National Park – Kamloops (Rocky Mountaineer)
Ride aboard the Rocky Mountaineer train, one of the world’s most spectacular rail journeys. For the next two days, indulge in Redleaf/Silverleaf/Goldleaf Service as you journey through the Rocky Mountains on to the city of Vancouver. The two-tier carriage offers dazzling vistas upstairs from the glass-topped dome coach, with delicious cuisine served downstairs, prepared by talented onboard chefs. View stunning views as the train crosses the Continental Divide, and through the Yellowhead Pass back to British Columbia. Your bags await you at your accommodation on arrival in Kamloops.

Day 12: Kamloops – Vancouver (Rocky Mountaineer)
Your fantastic ride aboard the Rocky Mountaineer train continues today as you pursue the river into the Thompson Canyon with its jagged walls and dry sagebrush landscape until it dramatically meets with the Fraser River. Transfer to your hotel on arrival in Vancouver, and indulge your taste buds at a celebratory farewell dinner.

Day 13: Depart Vancouver
Head out in the morning to see and cross the stunning Capilano Suspension Bridge, standing tall above the Capilano River, before a treetop adventure around the area for some of the most breathtaking scenes around. Depart Vancouver to the airport for your return flight home.
