Day 1: Arrive Vancouver
Arrive at Vancouver International Airport before being transferred to your hotel, with the remainder of the day then being spent at leisure.

Day 2: Vancouver
Sit down to breakfast with your fellow travellers before heading out to explore the city of Vancouver on a sightseeing tour, with Stanley Park, English Bay, Gastown, Chinatown and the Capilano Suspension Bridge being amongst the highlights. After the conclusion of the tour, the rest of the afternoon is then set aside for you to explore further at your own leisure.

Day 3: Vancouver – Victoria
Leave Vancouver behind as you take a ferry across the Strait of Georgia to Victoria, with your visit starting with a trip to the Butchart Gardens. After time to explore, the remainder of the day is then spent at leisure to do as you wish, with the option of exploring the city under your own steam or taking part in an optional excursion – such as whale watching trip on a high-speed zodiac or a flight above the city and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

Day 4: Victoria – Campbell River
Enjoy a day exploring the culture of both ancient and modern British Colombia as you journey up the Vancouver Island coast. Explore the impressive native murals at Chemanius and the totem pole grotto of Duncan before arriving in Campbell River, where you’ll then spend the night.

Day 5: Campbell River – Port Hardy
Head further north to Port Hardy, where you’ll enjoy one of the highlights of the trip with a cruise out onto the Johnstone Strait to go whale watching; with both orca and humpback whales being commonly found in the area. You’ll then be able to relax at the hotel or explore further at your own leisure.

Day 6: Port Hardy – Prince Rupert
Head away from Port Hardy by boat as you board a BC Ferries ship to head along the coast of British Colombia to the community of Prince Rupert – with the trip through the Inside Passage being one of the most spectacular you’ll find anywhere in Canada.

Day 7: Prince Rupert – Smithers
Hit the road and join the Yellowhead Highway as you journey along the Skeena River Valley, stopping off for a tour of Ksan Indian Village; a recreation of an ancient traditional community of the Gitxsan First Nation. Once you arrive in Smithers, the remainder of the day is yours to spend at leisure.

Day 8: Smithers – Prince George
Continuing your journey along the Yellowhead Highway, you’ll travel through some of Canada’s most rugged terrain before a stop at Fort St. James National Historic Park. You’ll then continue onwards to Prince George and the overnight halt.

Day 9: Prince George – Jasper National Park
Climb to some of the highest passes in the Rockies as you head towards the Alberta border, stopping off at the Mount Robson Viewpoint before continuing towards the Jasper National Park. An optional trip in the afternoon could see you take a ride on a raft through the rapids of the Athabasca River.

Day 10: Jasper – Banff National Park
One of the highlights of the trip comes with the trip through the Jasper and Banff National Parks, travelling along the mountain-flanked Icelands Parkway before boarding an Ice Explorer to ride on the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. Having had chance to take a photo at Lake Louise, you’ll continue onwards to the overnight halt.

Day 11: Banff National Park
Enjoy a day exploring the region around Banff, with a number of optional activities being available to fully appreciate Canada’s first national park. These could include a ride by helicopter into the skies above the Rocky Mountains, or a gondola ride up Sulphur Mountain. The remainder of the day is then yours to spend at leisure.

Day 12: Banff National Park – Vernon
The journey back towards the west coast begins, passing through Kicking Horse Canyon and travelling over Rogers Pass. You’ll have chance to view the monument at Craigellachie that marks the spot where Canada was linked by rail from sea to sea before entering the Okanagan Valley and your hotel in Vernon.

Day 13: Vernon – Vancouver
Following breakfast, continue through the vineyards and fruit orchards of the Okanagan Valley, enjoying a brief stop at Kalamalka Lake before the bright lights of Vancouver appear. On your final evening, you can enjoy an optional farewell dinner that includes a cruise through the waters of Vancouver Harbour.

Day 14: Depart Vancouver
After time for some last minute shopping, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
