Welcome to South Africa! Your journey begins with an arrival into Hoedspruit Airport on the outskirts of Kruger National Park and a game drive into the heart of the Makalali Game Reserve. Your home for the next three nights.

Arriving at Garonga Safari Camp you will be greeted with a cool drink and towel and shown to your luxury tent. With beautiful views across the low veld, the elevated position of Garonga offers epic surroundings in a laidback, thoughtful environment. It will be impossible not to feel relaxed surrounded by the endless wilderness. Head to the main deck for a drink or snack, if you're lucky you may even spot an elephant or two at the watering hole!

Each morning and evening an experienced guide and tracker will take you into the reserve on safari to find the local wildlife. From the Big 5 to the small animals and flora, your guide will take you on a journey of discovery. All meals are included, delicious home cooked South African fare is served nightly, including a traditional boma on one evening. Between safaris book a massage or swim in the pool, and be sure to pre-book the star bath to relax beneath the night sky, a truly unique experience.

You will arrive into Johannesburg this afternoon and have the evening to relax at your hotel or go out for an evening meal. Your overnight in Johannesburg is a great time to rest up before your flight to Mauritius.

Overnight at Hilton Sandton

Next stop is Mauritius! After all that adventure its time to relax and enjoy the beach and ocean. A four hour direct flight will take you from Johannesburg to the tropical island of Mauritius.

Your hotel is located in the north of the island near the fishing village of Grande Gaube. Overlooking a lagoon Zilwa Attitude is an all-inclusive hotel with an authentic Mauritian look and feel. There is plenty at Zilwa Attitude to keep you busy during your stay. Enjoy the sunrise from the ocean in a traditional pirogue, take a boat to the nearby island of Gran Zil for a beach bbq or head to the town of Goodlands, bustling with local life, particularly on market days. 

With six restaurants and two bars on site you will spoilt for choice. Creole, Asian, Indian and European flavours influence the cuisine and Taba-J offers up authentic Mauritian seafood, right on the beach. Two bars including an adults only give a perfect retreat after dinner while a juice and tea bar offer delicious refreshments throughout the day.
