Start in Melbourne and enjoy exploring the bustling capital of Victoria. Explore the trendy restaurants along the Southbank and wander the laneways to discover quirky cafes and shops. You can’t visit Melbourne without seeing the Great Ocean Road so we've included a campervan so you can tick this iconic road trip off your bucket list. Next take a flight to Sydney and spend time discovering the sights and attractions of this iconic city. Head to The Rocks, marvel at the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge or catch the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Beach. After sampling the delights of Sydney head north to the Whitsundays and spend the rest of your trip relaxing on Hamilton Island. This is the ideal place from which to explore the Great Barrier Reef and surrounding islands or simply just relax at the resort. You can tailor this entire itinerary to suit you. You will have two full days to explore Melbourne and its surroundings so head out to explore the lane ways stopping off at speciality shops and quirky cafes, or you might want to go to the Yarra Valley and sample wine and local produce for the afternoon. We have included a day trip out to explore the Great Ocean Road so whether you choose to do this on day two or three on this group tour you’ll see the iconic Twelve Apostles and famous London Bridge whilst enjoying the stunning views on the rugged coastline.
Overnight – Oaks on Wrap Southbank
On day four pick up your fully equipped campervan in Melbourne and embark on a Great Ocean Road adventure. Spend the next few days travelling at your own pace and exploring this beautiful stretch of coastline which offers so much to see and do. Spot pro-surfers taking on the waves at Bells Beach, encounter wild koalas at Kennett River, explore The Great Otway National Park and hike to various waterfalls, witness the iconic 12 Apostles in all their glory, admire the impressive Loch Ard Gorge and spot whales from the coastline in Warrnambool (June- September).
With five days to explore you could even finish up your road trip with a visit to the Grampians National Park, make for the small town of Halls Gap where you can follow a walking trail to The Pinnacle for outstanding views over the Wonderland Range and the Wimmera Plains.
Leave Melbourne and your campervan behind and take the hour and a half flight to Sydney. After checking in and unpacking venture out and explore the area. You’ll be staying in The Rocks in the heart of Sydney Harbour. There are shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep, not to mention the incredible harbour sights of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

There is a lot to see and do in Sydney but with three days you will have plenty of time to see all that you want to see. Stay in the city centre and enjoy the shops along George Street or wander through the Royal Botanic Gardens. Of course you can’t go to Sydney without seeing the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge, why not also opt to climb to the summit of the bridge or take a tour of the Opera House. If you want to get out of the Sydney head to the spectacular Blue Mountains, you can do this as a day trip by train and explore at your own pace or join a tour group and visit the key sites.

Hamilton Island is in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef and you will be surrounded by pristine white beaches and a kaleidoscope of coral and marine life. You can go out on a cruise to Whitehaven Beach and Heart Reef or choose to stay on dry land and enjoy the variety of restaurants and entertainment on offer on the island.
