Overview

On this four-day Jordan tour, you’ll be able to tick off the country’s two most famous attractions – the Dead Sea and Petra. And you can do it all in comfort, with air-conditioned transport and an English-speaking driver.

Go for a dip in the supernatural Dead Sea, where the high salt concentration means you can simply lie back and relax on the surface. Then travel to Petra – the age-old city that was lost for thousands of years, before being rediscovered in 1812. Truly unique, this is a place where nature and architecture come together, as intricately-carved structures emerge from craggy cliffs and rocky canyons.

Day 1

Arrive in Amman

Once you land in Amman Airport, you’ll be met by your tour coordinator. Then you’ll set off with your English-speaking driver, who’ll take you to your hotel. You’ll spend the night in the capital city, Amman, ready to begin your Jordan adventure the next day.

day 2

Dead Sea

After breakfast, you’ll set off towards the Dead Sea. The lowest place on Earth, the Dead Sea is famous for its unnaturally high salt levels. The water is so dense that you’ll be completely buoyant, and float on the surface without any effort at all – it’s physically impossible to sink. The water’s also full of natural minerals, so your skin will feel revitalized afterwards. You can enjoy three hours in the water at the Dead Sea Spa Hotel, before journeying on to Petra, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 3

Petra

Today is the highlight of your Jordan tour. After breakfast, you’ll travel to the ancient city of Petra – one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Estimated to have been built in the 5^th century BC, this UNESCO-protected site is truly remarkable. You’ll be amazed by the Lost City’s grand temples, mysterious tombs and ancient monasteries – not to mention the narrow desert canyons and blush-coloured cliffs. It’s sure to be a sight you’ll never forget.

You’ll return to your Petra hotel in the evening, where you’ll spend the night.

Return to Amman Airport

After a leisurely breakfast, your driver will take you to Amman Airport.
