Overview

Nothing can compare to seeing the Red Centre with your own eyes. Spend three days in the region, using Ayers Rock Resort as your base to head out and explore your surrounds with your group. Be amazed by the breath-taking sunrises and sunsets over Uluru, take in the majestic sights and amazing rock formations of the Kata Tjuta's. Go off the beaten track with your driver guide and immerse yourself in the regions sacred history and learn about the Aboriginal people.

Day 1

Arrive at Ayers Rock- Kata Tjuta Sunset

After being transferred from Ayers Rock Airport to your hotel, it's officially time for your Red Centre experience to commence. There's no better way to kick things off than with a magnificent sunset, and this afternoon you'll see just that at Kata Tjuta. Relax with canapés and Australian wines whilst admiring the views over the central valley of the domes whilst the sun illuminates the sky with it's fiery hues.

Day 2

Uluru Sunrise and Sacred Sights- Kata Tjuta

Rising early has its rewards this morning as you travel to the Uluru Sunrise Viewing Area watch the sun light up the desert and skies above. Once the sun has risen and you've enjoyed a warming tea or coffee, it's time to head over to the moonlike domes of Kata Tjuta. There will be time to explore Walpa Gorge and walk the 1.3km trail through the natural creek. The afternoon is full of discovery as you visit the Cultural Centre and explore the Aboriginal galleries. Later you'll find yourself at the base of Uluru where a local guide will with captivate you with Aboriginal Tjukurpa (creation) stories and walk with you to the Mutitjulu Waterhole, stopping at ancient Rock Art along the way.

Day 3

Uluru Sunrise- Field of Light

This morning you'll take the short journey to the the exclusive Field of Light, an art exhibition of coloured lights scattered throughout the desert as far as the eye can see. Walk through the field of 50,000 illuminates whilst surrounded by complete darkness before being greeted with hot beverages at the sunrise viewing area. As you sip on your drink the sun will begin to rise behind mighty Uluru, the desert will come to life and Kata Tjuta will come into view. After this memorable morning it's time to make your way back to the hotel for your departure transfer to Ayers Rock Airport.
