Overview

This exciting multi-centre adventure kicks off in Hong Kong. A cosmopolitan gem right in the heart of Asia, it serves up rich culture, modern architecture and sublime street food. Then after a few days of city living you’ll jet off to Indonesia where you’ll round things out with some R&R on the beautiful island of Bali.

A mishmash of forested mountains, glittering skyscrapers and ancient temples, Hong Kong has a little something for everyone. Spread across 260 islands, it rocks an east-meets-west vibe, and looks pretty good doing it. Those keen to check out the views can ride the historic tram to the top of Victoria Peak or hop on the Star Ferry and cruise across Victoria Harbour. Or if all you want to do is top up your tan, this city’s impressive collection of gold-sand beaches will satisfy even the fussiest of holidaygoers.

If there’s one thing that Bali does well, it’s beaches. We’re talking breathtaking stretches of coast with soft white sand and clear blue waters, backed by dramatic cliffs and tropical trees. After your time on the coast, you’ll journey inland to mountainous Ubud. Surrounded by rainforests, temples and terraced rice fields, this creative town is recognised for its traditional crafts and dance, and is widely considered to be Bali’s cultural heart. Plenty of people come here for relaxation and rejuvenation but, despite its popularity, it remains a peaceful retreat.
