Get ready to discover some of the USA's most famous national parks, including Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Grand Canyon, Grand Teton, and Yellowstone.
Your trip begins in pretty San Francisco in northern California, before continuing on to Nevada and Idaho, where you can see Twin Falls in the Magic Valley region. Three states down, it’s time to experience Wyoming and the geothermal wonderland of Yellowstone National Park. You'll have two nights here, to ensure a full-day adventure in the park. In Wyoming, you'll also see the majestic Grand Teton National Park and Snack River Outlook.
Week two sees you travel into Utah. In the state capital, Salt Lake City, you can see the State Capital building, the famed Temple Square, and the Mormon Tabernacle. Remaining in Utah, you'll spend a few days exploring Arches National Park, Moab, Bryce Canyon, and Lake Powell.
Next, it's time to hit Arizona. On your way to Flagstaff, you'll stop at the incredible Grand Canyon, where jaw-dropping views await. You'll then spend a couple of nights in Las Vegas, before continuing on to Los Angeles.

Enjoy a city tour and see San Francisco’s Civic Centre, Union Square, Fisherman’s Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge. The afternoon is yours to discover more of this beautiful city. You could take a stroll and see the marina's resident sea lions. Or, if you're a foodie, enjoy a taste of San Francisco which includes local seafood, clam chowder, sourdough bread and decadent chocolates.
Overnight – Galleria Park Hotel
Leave San Francisco behind and head to Sacramento, the capital of California. Make a stop in Old Town, which was a bustling hub during the Gold Rush. You'll continue on to Lake Tahoe, nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. In the afternoon, your group will visit Virginia City, a 19th-century mining metropolis where the Old West comes to life. From here, it’s just a short drive to Reno where you'll stay the night.

Start the day with a drive through the Black Rock Desert and across the plains of northern Nevada. You'll then follow the route along the Humboldt River, which was once used by the pioneers travelling from Oregon and California.
Overnight – Red Lion Hotel Twin Falls
Say goodbye to Twin Falls and cross the Snake River, known as ‘The River of No Return’. You'll make a stop at Craters of the Moon National Monument, an eerie desert which closely resembles a lunar landscape. In fact, this was where the first men on the moon did part of their training. Later in the day, you'll travel to Yellowstone National Park. This stunning area was named the USA's first national park in 1872.

Today, your group will enjoy a detailed sightseeing tour of this wonderful geothermal wonderland. Highlights include Yellowstone Lake, Old Faithful Geyser, Mammoth Hot Springs and Yellowstone Canyon’s majestic falls. Prepare to be amazed by Mother Nature's handiwork.
Overnight – Gray Wolf Inn
Make the journey through rugged Grand Tetons National Park, visit the Snake River Outlook, and see some of the resident wild buffalo, moose and elk. Make sure you get a snap of the stunning landscape that was made famous by Ansel Adams’s iconic photo.
Afterwards, you'll drive to Jackson Hole, described as the 'Crown Jewel of the Rocky Mountains'. The coach will drive through southern Idaho to Salt Lake City, the state capital of Utah. Marvel at the capitol building, visit the famed Temple Square and the Mormon Tabernacle, then check into your hotel.

Back on the road, you'll head to Canyonlands National Park. Marvel at countless canyons and fantastically formed buttes, carved out by the Colorado River. The river divides the park into four districts. There's the Island in the Sky, the Needles, the Maze, and the Rivers themselves. You'll stop at the most scenic points in the Islands in the Sky district, which sits on sheer sandstone cliffs. Then continue onto Moab for your overnight stay.

Spend today visiting one of Utah’s 'Mighty Five', Arches National Park. Discover the contrasting colours of this diverse landscape, which features more than 2,000 natural stone arches and hundreds of soaring pinnacles. This red-rock wonderland will amaze you with its unique formations. Travel back to Moab for the night, where you'll have the option to join a jet-boat trip on the Colorado River.

Start the day by discovering the extraordinary natural beauty of the Capitol Reef National Park. You'll then continue onto Bryce Canyon and tour the multi-coloured sandstone spires and pinnacles. In the evening, if the weather permits, you can enjoy incredible star-gazing of the twinkling constellations.
Overnight – Bryce View Lodge
Your first stop today is Lake Powell, where you'll be mesmorised by the crystal-clear waters that lap the red canyon walls. Next, you'll cross the Colorado River and enter the Navajo Indian Reservation and drive through the Painted Desert. The coach will then arrive at the impossibly vast Grand Canyon. An incredible natural wonder, this jaw-dropping gorge is a mile deep and 277 miles long.
Overnight – Days Hotel Flagstaff
Drive into the Mojave Desert, passing through Seligman – a frozen-in-time town built on the Historic Route 66. From here, you'll journey make to modern-day life in the glittering Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas.
Overnight – Luxor Las Vegas - Pyramid Room
Today is yours to do with as you please. Enjoy Vegas' high-end shopping, bustling casinos, themed hotels and cabaret shows. If you fancy a daytrip, though, why not join an optional tour to death valley? It's one of the driest, hottest and lowest places on Earth.
Overnight – Luxor Las Vegas – Pyramid Room
On your last full day, your coach makes its way to LA – but not before a quick stop at the iconic 'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign, where you can get a picture. Then you'll head back through the Mojave desert, taking in the mountainous landscape and clusters of Joshua trees. When the coach pulls into the metropolis of Los Angeles, you'll have a city tour of the sights, including Hollywood, Sunset Strip and Beverly Hills.
