Your adventure starts in South Africa’s vibrant Mother City. You’ll be spoilt for choice with cultural and historical sights, world-class restaurants, gorgeous beaches, botanical gardens, and iconic Table Top Mountain to explore.
After three days in Cape Town you’ll pick up your car and head for Franschhoek, in the heart of the stunning Cape Winelands. Breathe in the fresh air and relax as you pass vineyards and quaint Cape Dutch farms. This contrasts with the next leg of your journey: the dramatic desert-like landscape of Oudtshoorn and the Karoo.
Next up is, arguably, the world’s best road trip: the epic Garden Route. Stop off at Plettenberg Bay, where you’ll stroll miles of unspoilt beaches and explore tranquil fishing villages. And visit Knysna – a pretty spot on the side of a lagoon, surrounded by lush forest – before spending time in Tsitsikamma Forest and Port Elizabeth.
Your adventure ends on a high, as you fly into Kruger National Park to take exciting game drives in search of the Big Five – elephants, lion, Cape buffalo, rhino and the elusive leopard – as well as crocodiles, hippos and more.
This comprehensive and unforgettable tour will give you a taste of South Africa at its most captivating.
On arrival in Cape Town you’ll be greeted and transferred to your chosen hotel for a three-night stay in the city.

Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront (Breakfast included)
After breakfast, you have the option of taking a morning tour for an insight into the spirit of Cape Town and the history of the port from 1652, when the first Dutch Governor set foot on a beach nearby. The tour spends time on Table Mountain's summit – reached via cable car and payable locally – the Company Gardens, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant flea market of Greenmarket Square. You’ll finish this delightful tour with a walk through colourful Bo Kaap – the Cape Malay quarter.
