Overview

There’s a reason why this is one of our most popular Florida multi-centre holidays. This trip is jam-packed with fun. Spend a week in Orlando, cramming in all the things to do and see, from theme parks and lively shows, to crazy golf and water parks. Plus, you’ll have a great dining scene on your doorstep. Hire a car and enjoy a relaxing drive to the Gulf Coast, where you’ll find award-winning beaches, a warm welcome and a laidback atmosphere.

Orlando

Day 1-7: Orlando

You could easily spend two weeks exploring Orlando's world-famous theme parks, but there's plenty more to see. You can dine in the restaurants at Pointe Orlando, visit Old Town in Kissimmee, or discover the hidden gems in De Phillips area. And, if you hire a car, you could head north of Orlando to relax in natural springs, or go gator-watching in one of the nearby lakes.

When deciding where to stay, you have three main options. You can stay in the heart of the action at one of the hotels within Universal Orlando Resort(tm) or Walt Disney World(r) Resort, opt for a convenient hotel on International Drive, or get that home-from-home experience when you book a villa in Kissimmee.

St Pete Beach and Clearwater

Day 7-10: St Pete Beach and Clearwater

St Pete Beach and Clearwater are so close to each other that, wherever you stay, you can easily experience both. With a beachfront hotel and a hire car, the world is your oyster.

St Pete Beach is very casual and relaxed - the perfect place to chill out after a full-on week in Orlando. Head to the beachside cafes and bars in the evening to see some of the best sunsets you'll ever witness. Neighbouring Clearwater is a little busier, with lots of shops, restaurants and museums, including the Dali Museum and the must-see Morean Arts Centre, where you can see the glass work of Dale Chilhuly. Make sure you also hire a kayak and spend an afternoon paddling along the many waterways and mangrove tunnels.
