Modern history

The Sea Crest Beach Hotel was established almost 100 years ago and, while its name has remained for many of those years, the hotel has moved with the times, and was newly refurbished in 2022. Starting life as the Old Silver Beach Club, the hotel was once a summer refuge for the likes of Henry Fonda, Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullivan. Since then, the Sea Crest Beach Hotel has become a natural part of Cape Cod life, and has welcomed the same families for generations.

The Sea Crest Beach Hotel is Upper Cape Cod’s only beachfront hotel – and it’s right in the heart of the action. It’s perched on a private stretch of white-sand beach which hugs Buzzards Bay. Water babies will love the hotel’s two pools – one indoor, one outdoor – and Jacuzzi, while little ones can splash about in the kids’ pool. You’ll also find paddleboards, kayaks and other watersports equipment available to hire on the beach. Alternatively, stretch out with a morning yoga session on the beach.
