Surrounded by 120 hectares of tropical plants and flowers, Constance Ephelia Resort is spread over two of Mahé’s unspoiled beaches. It’s flanked on either side by the sparkling Indian Ocean and densely verdant outcrops. Luxurious island touches are everywhere, from bench swings hanging from palm trees, to thatched-roof outdoor yoga pavilions.
Children have a wealth of activities to choose from at Constance Ephelia Resort. Constance Kids’ Club is suitable for children aged four to 11, and offers entertaining and educational fun. Little ones can play tag and hold relays in the swimming pool, take part in interactive games in the open play area, and do arts and crafts with their new friends. There’s also the chance to play on PlayStation and Nintendo Wii, learn how to make pizzas and crepes, and run off excess energy in dedicated outdoor play areas.
Treat yourself to some pure relaxation at the spa village at Constance Ephelia Resort, where you can have a massage, facial or body therapy and make use of the sauna, steam room, thermal pools and Jacuzzi. Up for some sport? Head to one of the hotel’s four tennis courts, have a game of squash or work out at the gym. Or try windsurfing, pedal boating and catamaran sailing down on the beach. If you’re feeling adventurous, try activities like scuba diving, zip-lining and mangrove kayaking.
The main buffet restaurant, Corossol, is open for breakfast and dinner. The international menu spans from tandoori to pizza.
On the south beach, Helios takes its influence from Mediterranean cuisine and has a menu of tapas, mezze, antipasti and pizza.
Water, air, earth and fire inspire the menu at Adam & Eve. Expect Southeast Asian flavours with a spotlight on Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore.
Looking over Port Launay Marine Park, Cyann takes French food and gives it an Asian twist. There’s also a poolside sushi bar open for lunch and dinner.
Enjoy a buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner at Seselwa, where you’ll have views of the north beach.
Kabana is a lively bar on Port Launay beach, where you can play chess or beach volleyball – or simply slurp a cocktail or tropical slushie.
Sip a signature cocktail indoors or under the stars at Zee Bar, where there’s live music each evening and a wide range of drinks.
Next to Helios restaurant, this shaded bar specialises in freshly brewed iced tea and delicious cocktails.
This beach-facing bar lets you revitalise with fresh fruit juices and smoothies, as well as cocktails served in green coconuts.
Spirits top the bill at Cyann Bar where you’ll find a large selection of rums from around the globe, plus single malt whiskies, rare spirits and sake.
Nestled under a canopy for shade, Seselwa Bar is a relaxed place to hang out on the north beach and listen to Creole tunes.
The rooms at Constance Ephelia Resort are geared towards taking advantage of the sunny weather. Each one has a private terrace or balcony that overlooks the tropical gardens or the sparkling ocean, while the neutral colour scheme allows contemporary artwork to pop.
