Dubai all-inclusive holidays

If you manage to tear yourself away from your all-inclusive resort, you’ll find plenty of things to do in Dubai. This place is a hybrid of tradition and modernity. On a visit to the Old Quarter, you can find cultural sites like the Dubai Museum, Jumeirah Mosque and the ancient souks, selling everything from clothes to crafts. The Gold Souk, in particular, is a wonder to behold, filled with glittering souvenirs.

Downtown Dubai is immediately recognisable, thanks to world-famous attractions like the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Marina and the iconic Palm Islands. You can browse Dubai Mall – the biggest in the world – and visit the aquarium. For something more adventurous, spend a day at Dubai Parks and Resorts, or head into the dunes on a desert safari. Whatever you’re into, you’ll find that a lot of all-inclusive resorts offer their own trips, tours and transfers to many of the Dubai’s top attractions, so it’s easy to explore.

When you’re looking at options for your all-inclusive Dubai holiday, consider staying at one of the city’s JA hotels. Sofitel Dubai The Palm is another great choice for your all-inclusive break. In a prime position on the Palm Jumeriah, this five-star resort has views of the Arabian Gulf and the famous Palm Islands, with the skyscrapers of Dubai in the distance.

Head to the 500-metre private beach, where you can sunbathe, kayak or bounce around on the floating obstacle course just offshore. For something a little calmer, why not unwind in the spa or go for a dip in the sea-view infinity pool? Children will love the Amura Kids’ Club too, where they have their own pool and a jam-packed activity schedule.

The all-inclusive dining here is second to none. Among the seven bars and restaurants, there’s the award-winning Porterhouse Steaks and Grills, which has twice been named ‘Favourite Steakhouse in Dubai’. If you’d rather have seafood and sushi, head to Moana for tasty Asian-inspired bites. Enjoy delicious Chinese dishes at Hong Loong, or try out Indian food – served with a twist – at Zoya by Maui.

Sun-soaked Dubai has fantastic weather throughout the year, but there are times when it’ll be too warm for some. The summer months are incredibly hot and humid, with temperatures often reaching 40°C and above. While the hotels and malls have excellent air-conditioning, you may find it too hot for beach days or lying by the pool.

If you’d prefer to go to Dubai when it’s comfortably hot, book your holiday between November and April. During this time, temperatures hover between 25°C and 33°C – perfect sunbathing weather, while still remaining cool enough to explore.

It’s also worth checking when Ramadan falls, as this holy month moves each year. Opening hours of attractions may be slightly different during this time, and it’s not permitted to eat or drink in public places during daylight hours. But most hotel restaurants and bars remain open, so you can still enjoy your holiday as normal.
