Many of Tanzania’s national parks are home to the ‘Big Five’ – lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant – as well as cheetahs, hippos and a variety of birds. Along the riverbanks, you’ll see crocodiles lazing in the sun. And, if you head to Gombe National Park or Mahale Mountains National Park, you’ll have the opportunity to track and observe wild chimpanzees.
