USA MULTI-CENTRES MADE EASY

A similar size to Europe, the USA is a vast, diverse country – so, if you want to see more of it, a multi-centre holiday is an easy way to do it. You can tick off a pair of major cities in one straightforward trip, with just a short flight between the two. You could combine iconic hubs like Los Angeles and San Francisco, or mix city and beach when you split your time between Orlando and Miami. Whether you’re looking for sightseeing, shopping or sunshine, our USA multi-centre holidays have got you covered. And our travel specialists will take care of all the details, so you can simply relax and enjoy your getaway.

If you’re considering a multi-centre holiday to the USA, you’ll notice there’s an endless list of options. You could spend all your time in one state – like laidback California or sun-soaked Florida – or spread your wings and visit two states. Combine New York and Boston into one trip, for instance, or pair Las Vegas with LA. Hawaii is another fantastic choice, as there are multiple islands for you to explore – and you can easily add on a city break in San Francisco or Los Angeles.

And that’s not all. Our USA multi-centre holidays allow you to explore other countries, too. For example, you could pair New York with Toronto, just across the border in Canada. Or, if you’re craving some beach time, why not fly down to theCaribbean? Popular combinations include Miami and Cancun, Orlando and the Bahamas, and New York and St Lucia.

Whether you’re travelling as a couple, family or a group of friends, we’ve got the perfect USA multi-centre for you. Speak to our team to start planning your tailor-made getaway.

West Coast multi-centres

The USA’s west coast is home to some of the country’s most iconic cities, including Los Angeles and San Francisco. Plus, further inland, you’ll find the neon lights of Las Vegas. So it’s not surprising that this neck of the woods serves up some of our most popular USA multi-centre holidays.

You could kick off your trip with a few nights in Sin City, hopping between Las Vegas’ famous casinos, theatres and fabulous themed hotels. You’ll also be well-placed for some unforgettable daytrips, including Death Valley and the Grand Canyon. For the second part of your holiday, why not head to California’s coast? You can explore San Francisco – ticking off the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz – or immerse yourself in the star-studded city of Los Angeles.

Alternatively, start your getaway in LA. You can spend a few days visiting world-famous attractions like the Hollywood Sign and the Griffith Observatory, before flying west to tropical Hawaii. Whether you choose to stay on the island of Maui or Oahu, the stunning beaches and luscious jungle offer the perfect contrast to bustling Tinseltown.

Best time to visit the USA

America is so vast that it’s always warm and sunny somewhere – so there’s never a bad time for a multi-centre holiday to the USA. Spring generally sees fresh, pleasant temperatures, while autumn is famous for its eye-catching colours. But, if winter sports are your thing, you might want to visit in winter to make the most of the superb snow.

For dry weather and low humidity on the east coast, it’s best to plan your holiday for spring or autumn. Summer is often stifling, so it’s not a great time for sightseeing in New York, for example. At the opposite end of the spectrum, winter is very cold and snowy – although this does mean you’ll be able to enjoy fantastic skiing in Vermont and see NYC in all its twinkling festive glory.

The west coast is generally warm, with temperatures reaching 40°C in California during summer. And, although winters are cooler, 20°C in December isn’t unusual here. Meanwhile, the Deep South sees very hot, humid summers, so it’s best to visit in spring or autumn. And remember – if you’re planning to add on a stop in the Caribbean, the weather is generally dry and sunny between December and March.
