Overview

On this multi-centre holiday, you can tick off two of the UAE’s glittering Emirates – Dubai and Ras al Khaimah. While larger-than-life Dubai needs no introduction, lesser-known Ras al Khaimah often slips under the radar. But, with unspoiled beaches and scenic mountains, this picturesque Emirate deserves plenty of attention.

 

You’ll have five days to take in all the exciting sights of Dubai, before retreating to Ras al Khaimah for three days of well-deserved relaxation.

One of the world’s most extravagant cities, Dubai is home to soaring skyscrapers – including the Burj Khalifa, the tallest in the world – gigantic shopping malls and award-winning restaurants. The golden sands are peppered with luxury resorts, as well as watersports centres and plush beach clubs. You can get your adrenaline pumping in Dubai’s theme parks, or head into the desert for dune-bashing adventures. Or, to uncover the traditional side of Dubai, browse the trinket-filled Gold Souk and explore the cobbled streets of Al Seef.

Ras Al Khaimah

After five days of sightseeing, it’s time to relax in Ras al Khaimah. Just a 45-minute drive northeast of Dubai, this relatively unknown Emirate offers pristine, crowd-free sands. Ras al Khaimah’s beaches are dotted with sun loungers and parasols, and backed by luxurious resorts. The snorkelling is fantastic, and you’ll have lots of watersports to choose from. When you want to explore, you can enjoy a daytrip in the Jebel Jais Mountains or visit the 17th-century Fujairah Fort.
