If you’re looking to combine some city and beach time into one holiday, look no further than this perfect duo – New York and St Lucia. You could plan your trip in the winter when NYC is at its most magical and St Lucia has its best weather.

Eat your way across the city, ticking off street food vendors, pizzerias and revolving sky-high restaurants, see the latest show on Broadway, and get your culture fix at MoMA or The Met. Explore the eclectic boroughs, from the Bronx to Brooklyn, and hit the popular shopping districts of The Upper East Side and Greenwich Village.

St Lucia

St Lucia offers the perfect contrast to the Big Apple. A beautiful Caribbean island with a host of romantic beaches, tropical jungles, picturesque towns and luxury resorts, it’s the ideal destination to get some much-needed vitamin D. There are resorts and boutique hotels to suit all budgets, and adventure activities for all ages, ranging from horse-riding to zip-lining. The diving and snorkelling around St Lucia is world-class, too, thanks to the island’s protected waters.
