Spend three nights at Crown Promenade Melbourne before heading to explore the famous landmarks of Victoria on a seven day self drive. Days 1 & 2: Perth - Margaret River
Head south from Perth towards Bunbury and maybe a stop at the Dolphin Discovery Centre, before continuing to Busselton, home of the southern hemisphere’s longest jetty. Then it’s on to Margaret River for a two-night stay. On your free day spend some time exploring the vineyards, boutique breweries and fine gourmet restaurants. Watch the locals take on the awe-inspiring breakers at Surfers Point, or take a trip to visit the spectacular cave systems including Mammoth, Jewel and Lake Caves, the latter home to a tranquil underground lake.

Day 3: Margaret River - Pemberton - Albany
Today, it's on to Augusta, Australia's most south-westerly point. Here, stop at the windswept lighthouse of Cape Leeuwin to witness the meeting of the Indian and Great Southern Oceans. Continue your journey to the 'Tall Timber Country' of Pemberton and stop off at Northcliffe to view the famous forest sculptures. Then drive to the eerie Valley of the Giants, a forest of gigantic tingle trees and take a bird’s eye view of the towering forest as you walk the daunting ‘Tree Top Walk’, a lightweight bridge that ascends into the tree tops 40 metres above the rainforest canopy. Continue to Albany, known for its natural attractions along the rugged coastline of Torndirrup National Park.

Your day is at leisure to explore Albany, highlights include the whaling museum at Whaleworld. From Jun-Oct, watch out for magnificent humpback and southern right whales who come to the waters before migrating north for breeding.

Day 1: Melbourne - Yarra Valley
Drive via the towering forests and deep gullies of the beautiful Dandenong Ranges to the Yarra Valley. Renowned for its superb wineries, excellent restaurants, cafés and art galleries, maybe take a wine-tasting tour in one of the many cellars, or see the wildlife at the Healesville Sanctuary.

Day 2: Yarra Valley - Phillip Island
Today, travel to Phillip Island, home to an astounding array of wildlife including Australia's largest colony of fur seals. See the cuddly koalas at the Koala Conservation Centre and, thanks to your included Three Park Pass, you'll also have access to the famous 'Penguin Parade' to watch hundreds of penguins waddle to their burrows at dusk.

Day 3: Phillip Island - Mornington Peninsula

Day 4: Mornington - Lorne/Apollo Bay
From Sorrento, catch the ferry across to Queenscliff. The ferry runs hourly from 6am to 7pm, and costs approx. $65 per vehicle (not included). Now begins your journey along the iconic Great Ocean Road. Along the way see Bells Beach in the famous surfing town of Torquay, and the kangaroos of Anglesea.

Day 5: Lorne/Apollo Bay - Port Campbell

Stop to see the lighthouse at Cape Otway, the Loch Ard Gorge, the broken arch of London Bridge and the Bay of Martyrs and, of course, the amazing rock formations of the Twelve Apostles, huge stone pillars carved by the power of the sea.
