My wife and I have been travelling to Papua New Guinea regularly for over twenty years to visit family. We intended to go again in November 2021 and we began making arrangements nine months earlier. We knew it would be more difficult this time because of the global pandemic but we were fortunate to find Travelbag for the first time and to be placed in the safe hands of Paul Mexson. Paul was able to find the most direct route with a connection to Air Niugini in Singapore at a very reasonable price, minimising the complications of transiting and all the Covid security requirements each stop would entail. He also reassured us that booking and paying for our tickets six months before our departure would be OK, even in the midst of all the uncertainties the pandemic was throwing at us. We certainly put his word to the test, because we succumbed to the virus two weeks before we were due to travel. We contacted Paul to tell him about our predicament; he immediately reassured us, offering a few options including a full refund, which, after careful consideration, we chose. We now have time to fully recover and we will definitely be going back to Paul in 2022 to rebook. Of course, we are disappointed that we cannot travel but, thanks to Travelbag, we have not lost out financially, so things could have been much worse. We need this kind of professional support in such uncertain times and I can highly recommend Travelbag to fill that role.
