Journey aboard the from one side of the culturally reach lands of Canada to the other, as you begin your tour in the eclectic city of Toronto in the east and finish in the bustling city of Vancouver in the west, uncovering the natural wonders and landmarks in between.

Day 1: Arrive in Toronto
Arrive in Toronto and transfer to your hotel downtown, after checking in you can pick up your information kit at the front desk. Spend the remainder of the day at your leisure, relaxing in the hotel or familiarising yourself with the culture centre of Toronto.

Day 2: Toronto
Explore the streets and monuments of the eclectic city on a sightseeing tour of Toronto, highlights include City Hall, Chinatown, The Waterfront, the financial district, Parliament Buildings and the CN Tower. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure to explore, shop, or relax.

Day 3: Niagara Falls - The Canadian
Spend the day on an adventure to Niagara Falls, passing through the fruit-growing district of the Niagara Peninsula before arriving at the cascading waters of the falls. Board the Horn blower Niagara cruises VIP Boat tour for a fantastic boat trip to the base of the Horseshoe Falls. Enjoy a lunch and trip along the Niagara Parkway which winds along the Niagara Gorge. Take a trip to the community of Niagara-On-The-Lake before returning to Toronto and transferring to Union Station to ride aboard VIA Rail’s The Canadian heading west.

Days 4-5: Winnipeg (Rail Journey)
Travel within view of the rough terrain of the Laurentian Plateau rock formations as you head north of the Great Lakes. The region is peppered with beautiful lakes and dense forests. The train will cross over into Manitoba by early evening, taking a short stop in the provincial capital, Winnipeg.

Day 6: Jasper (Rail Journey)
In the morning you will have crossed the expanse of open plain in Saskatchewan and Alberta, heading towards the looming majesty of the Rocky Mountains as you cut through a beautiful spectacle of nature as you enter Jasper National Park.

Day 7: Jasper
Take the day to immerse yourself in the surroundings of Jasper on your own. Ride the tramway or visit Miette Hot Springs, or simply explore the placid lakes and calm meadows of Jasper National Park, all framed by daunting glaciers and sharp peaks.

Day 8: Jasper – Lake Louise
Depart Jasper to cross the Icefields Parkway, a beautiful route and one of the most scenic in Canada, with vistas of rolling valleys, rushing waterfalls, and lofty peaks that adorn the land. Once you arrive at the Columbia Icefield you will have the chance to ride in an Ice Explorer across the frozen surface of the ancient Athabasca Glacier. Continue on to Lake Louise, a sparkling lake that reflects the majesty of the Victoria Glacier.

Day 9: Lake Louise - Banff
Spend time discovering Lake Louise Village, a charming gateway to the mountainous region of Banff National Park, the train station of which was made famous in the film Dr. Zhivago. Head on through the twisting roads of Banff National Park to the alpine town site of Banff. Keep an eye out for the indigenous fauna of the surrounding rural areas of the town while the inner commercial areas house a number of boutiques, eateries, and confectionaries.

Day 10: Banff
Take a sightseeing tour of the town of Banff and its surroundings, seeing some of the highlights of Banff National Park, including the interesting Hoodoos, Surprise Corner and Tunnel Mountain Drive that overlooks the splendour of the bow River Valley. Spend the rest of your day at leisure.

Day 11: Banff - Kamloops
Ride aboard the Rocky Mountaineer west to the Pacific Coast with beautiful daylight scenery along the way. The route departs the Rockies through Kicking Horse Pass, and then ascends into the Selkirk Mountains following Rogers Pass. By late afternoon, you are in the rough ranchlands of interior British Columbia, where you disembark for the night.

Day 12: Kamloops - Vancouver
Continue on your rail journey to Vancouver today through the ranchlands of British Columbia’s Interior along the vast Thompson and Fraser rivers. The backdrop of jagged mountain peaks and rolling hills as you head ever closer to Vancouver, where upon arrival you will transfer to your hotel.

Day 13: Vancouver
Take a hop-on hop-off trolley tour of Vancouver today, visiting the landmarks of historic Gastown, the views of English Bay, the market of Granville Island, and the intricate totem poles of Stanley Park.

Day 14: Victoria
Take a full day trip to the capital of British Columbia, the aesthetically stunning Victoria with a cruise through the Gulf Islands en route. Visit the renowned Butchart Gardens to see the splendid floral designs before continuing on to Victoria for a tour that brings you up close to the University of Victoria, Beacon Hill Park, and the Royal British Columbia Museum and more. Return to Vancouver in the early evening.

Day 15: Depart Vancouver
