Destination Film Facts
  • Did You Know?

Kong appears larger in this film than in his previous incarnations. This is due to the upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong movie in 2020, in which Kong would’ve been too small to fight Godzilla at his more traditional size. The poignant line “he’s still growing” was also included in the movie for this reason.

  • Did You Know?

Prior to filming, especially in Australia, the cast was warned that they could be killed. Poisonous plants and animals were prevalent in the shooting locations. They were given a book prior to filming that contained safety information about everything in the area that could potentially kill them.

  • Did You Know?

Tom Hiddleston was trained by a Navy Seal! Tom’s character, James Conrad, is a former British SAS Special Forces tracker, so it makes sense that he would need some very specific instruction to portray such a man as best he could.
