Forrest Gump

Destination film plot

The Plot

“Run, Forrest, run!” If that’s not one of the most iconic lines in filmic history, we don’t know what is. Packed with classic quotes it may be, but this 1994 smash hit has lots more to it. On top of having an uncommonly high audience score of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes, Forrest Gump won no fewer than six Academy Awards and stole the hearts of everybody who watched it. What’s more, the adorable Forrest himself was named the 20th greatest movie character of all time by Empire Magazine in 2008.
